Now look at such things as the assination of sadat in egypt and why, which was when ronald reagan and such was around and the cold war and lots of other muslim political/religious going ons. It all boils down to the past. These wars have been going on since the start of religions. The problem is that people just can't let things lay in the past and let others have an opinion. Sure there is issues of woman abuse, murder and such but I think a country needs to take care of its own problems before enforcing there views on others. USA has a huge issue with this with their leadership when they can't even deal with their own country such as kkk, crypts and bloods, mafias , gangs in general, corrupt leaderships, illumantis and masons to just name a few. Now this is just my opinion. I think there is many issues degrading the world as a whole. Porn automatically comes to mind since it is so freely avaible and any kid with a computer can access it.

Why don't you throw in the Rotary Club, United Way, NRA, and the Shriners as well. Your confusing groups which tear the fabric of society apart with those who bind it. Now as far as wars and religion your correct. They have happened and will continue to happen. So you see for thousands of years there have been wars of ideology, religion, whatever. And, if you want to survive you HAVE to align yourself with a cause and stick with it. If not you'll be a dead fool.

First off I dont have to take a side and if I don't want to be involved thats my choice. Because of this I should be left alone. There is times where I have an opinion. One such opinion I have is that I dont think its right to be gay as in sexual context. But you know what as long as they dont come up to me and bother me I dont bother them. On that my ex gf had a friend that was gay that came an ate dinner with us and he knew I didn't think it was right. But you know what we where able to sit there and eat dinner and have a civil conversation.

Anyways my point being that that isnt as serious as religion but I bet people could still do it.

The only issue I see is civil rights like woman abuse, murder and such that I have mentioned before which happens in all nations. These are the probelms that need to be solved.

Now back to what was said about your listing of like nra and the masons. First off its not all masons. I am talking about the threats like skull and bones. I am talking about groups of individuals that set back society. Gangs that murder and peddle drugs and prostitution, kkk that support hatrid, corrupt goverment agencies and corrupt corporate entities. I am talking the government officials that rely on fear monger of make believe submarines( I refer to the submarines to back in the day of accoustic and non accoustic subs that supposivly russia had) and make believe terrorist threats. Now don't get me wrong there is real terrorists and such but it is not as bad as they make it out in my opinion. Seriously the world is lucky I am not a so called terrorist because and I mean in no disrespect to the individuals of 911 which was a terrible situtaion, but I could be 10 times worse. You give me ten smart individuals and I know I could do a lot of destruction.

Now on the topic of NRA. I think there in my opinion is a lot more going on. Todays society in the what you call Good ol USA is volatile (hopefully that word is spelled right hahha) in which many have speculated there may be a civil war a brewing. Now like anything you need to take everyting with a grain of salt but at least pay attention. Now the NRA is fighting for gun rights and all that good gunslinging stuff so this could be a good or bad thing because if there was a civil war at this point in time I would not want the present American governement to be in power. Now that means more guns that can be stolen and gangs get their hand on but there may be a time when that will be a good thing. The stolen weapons though have been filtrating up into Canada and I really don't like that. Also note that alot of what happens in the USA effects Canada eventually.

Now on the subject of peacekeeping. I am happy to be part of Canada and our nation being know for this. I am very happy we didn't play the sheep on the issue of iraq and stayed out.

Easy for you to say...who do you think pays for most of your national defense? Americans do! If islam were to attack you, believe me, we would hit them back on your behalf. Believe me, any threat to Canada would defintely be a threat to the United States and the United States would take action, lead, and fight back! As for your other point. I would love to live in world where everybody minded their own business. If mulsims want to go march to Mecca and throw stones at a symbolic devil, go right ahead. If they want to pray west instead of east, go right ahead. I don't care!!

What I care about is when the religion starts showing its face on my door step. If a couple of rag heads came to my house and told me to convert to islam, I should have the right to say no. I should have the right to say, "leave me alone or, no thank you, I have a real God thank you very much."

But they will NOT leave us alone, will they?? Millions of islamic radicals have made it very clear their goal is to see the destruction of west and a world of islam. You may sit idle and "hope" they will behave, but the world is dealing with their mess and it must be addressed.

As for the NRA, there are over 2,500 gun laws passed since World War II limiting what people can or not own for firearms. I have a simple solution...ENFORCE THE LAW. Criminals will always find ways to get arms and the innocent has the right to defend themselves. It was so important that our framers put this clause as amendment #2 in our Constitution. So stop whinning about guns, enforce the laws, punish the bad guys and let innocent people protect their home as they see fit.

It would be no differant if IBM computers were used to collect and store census data...then that data ends up with islamic terrorists who then use this data to search out Jews in a given geographic area for "evacuation" purposes.

Instead of blaming the machine, I would direct my attention against the people that purposely used these machines for ill purposes. Well I do not attend to pick a fight with you Whisptech for I believe you are living in Canada and I love that nation and I love Bob Marley, "no women no cry" used to be one of my favorites, but I have to disagree with you about alot of the worlds problems are based upon assumptions.
I tend to think they are based upon greed, religious zealots, and power
which the first two really are about anyway-power.
So the worlds problems in my mind as of this moment are about power.
Those who want to have it over others be it economically, politically, sexually, physically or plain old thought control.
Now assumptions can play in a role for often nice people assume that others can be as nice as them if reasoned with and that is not the case with those who only care about power.
