You mean like the KKK, white supremacist, and anti-government paramilitary organizations? For once, I agree with you completely Midas.

Look up in the corner of this post you will see Bush holding hands with a Saudi prince. Doesn't that strike you as odd. Show me any other American holding hands with a Saudi prince. The connection is as real as the connection between those 2 hand holders.

Well I viewed your link and in all honesty all I see is some choppers, now even I have seen enough footage of NY to know there are choppers in the air constantly. Are you saying to me that these had something to do with the towers coming down?? If so what evidence do you put forward? or are you just trying to cloud the issue.
We know that a number of those on board the flights had attended flying school, and were onboard planes that flew into the twin towers. We know that Ali Fatty claimed responsability, the same as we know scuiside bombers drove a truck into a Marine Barrack in Lebanon some years back or that Muslims exploded bombs on the London Subway and a bus, blew up a nightclub, blew up some Spanish trains. These things we know. Are you saying thay Bush created this without a single leak!! now that I find very hard to take in as you have spent so much time telling us this guy is incompitent.

As I recall the ceo of lear said he could not pilot those jets into those buildings, and you are saying that these guys could do it with a few lessons?
Also did you see the bright lights right where the copters were, how about FEMA being deployed on 9-10.
And how about the way those buildings fell. There are way to many things that do not fit.

There would be nationwide rioting and panic if the truth were to be known. In Danr's world they were actually going after the window washers and the copters were their back-up plan.

Don't you bend over backwards defending Islam. I wonder how that picture would look like?

I've always found it odd that many people here condemn Islam and Muslims as the enemy. It is the same as condemning all Christians no matter the branch of Christianity. There are many types of Muslims and many types of Christians yet people here tend to see our own diversity and are able differentiate between Evangelicals, Baptists, Catholics, and the rest of the Christian faiths and at the same time lump all Muslims into one category. There are many different sects of Muslims in the world and the vast majority of them are just peaceful devout people. I know certain people have disagreed with this point in the past but the branch or sect of Islam that is lashing out at the West isn't embraced by mainstream Muslims any more that I embrace born-again Christians.

I don’t think it would be too great of a stretch and far more accurate to use the term "Radical Islam" to describe the enemy we face and not just throw a blanket condemnation over the entire religion. By calling this a Muslim threat you are just showing your true ignorance of the real enemy we face. In any war, you have to know who your friends are and who your enemies are if you want to be successful. Radical Islam will fail because of the weight of its own hypocrisy and an inability to recruit new members, that is, if we stop doing the recruiting for them. One way to do that is to reach out to and understand the ordinary Joe Muslim and make sure he or she isn't compelled to become another Radical Islamist and uses our own actions and opinions as justification.

No but Bush seems to bend over backwards on behalf of the wealthy portion of the Arab world. And that scares me.

Well he does bend over backwards for the rich but you seem to bend over for all of them. So if that makes him easy what does that make you?

Moen, just look at all the non-muslims that are getting killed around the world by the muslims.
Midas gives us updates on it all the time for it is happening all the time.
The muslims have committed genocide after genocide since the time of muhammad and they have not stopped. From Nigera to Sudan to Turkey would be some and only some examples. I picked those three for any internet search should come up with a ton of information.

As for radicals, Islam is a radical religion. That is why killing off leadership means nothing for the battle plan and rallying cry is all in the Quran.

Andy we ALL (even Moen and I) have a big problem with the"I hate America" types. I have known them and I know that they are a danger. The problem is that that small portion of Muslims in NO WAY represents the majority of that population.
Trying to paint the entire Muslim world with that brush is just EVIL (that is the type of thing that Hitler did).

1.2 billion world-wide muslims and at the very least...10% are hard core radicals. (Per polling data)

That's at least (I think there is WAY more)...120 MILLION radical muslims. You are right...that is a small portion.

ENOUGH ABOUT MY GUT FEELINGS, LET'S LOOK AT SOME SCIENTIFIC POLLS:

    Pew Reseach Center (7/14/05):
"Nearly half of Muslims (surveyed) in Lebanon and Jordan, and 56% in Morocco, say suicide bombings against Americans and other Westerners in Iraq are justifiable".

    UK Telegraph (2/19/06):
"Four out of 10 British Muslims surveryed (40%) want sharia law introduced into parts of the country, a survey reveals today.

The ICM opinion poll also indicates that a fifth have sympathy with the "feelings and motives" of the suicide bombers who attacked London last July 7, killing 52 people..."

"A survey in June of 2003 by the Pew Global Attitudes Project reported that negative views of America among Muslims had spread beyond the Middle East to Indonesia—the world's most populous Muslim country—and Nigeria. In many Muslim states a majority thought that America might become a military threat to their own country. Solid majorities of Palestinians and Indonesians—and nearly half of those in Morocco and Pakistan—said they had at least some confidence in Osama bin Laden to “do the right thing regarding world affairs”. Seven out of ten (70%) Palestinians said they had confidence in Mr bin Laden in this regard."

The April 8th, 2004 survey entitled, "The Detroit Mosque Study: Muslim Views on Policy and Religion," by Ihsan Bagby of the Institute for Social Policy Understanding, a Muslim group right here in AMERICA!

Mosque participants were asked, whether they agree or disagree with the statement, "Shari'ah should be the law of the land in Muslim countries?" Shari'ah refers to Islamic law.

Apply Islamic Law in Muslim Lands

    Strongly Agree — 59%
    Somewhat Agree — 22%

    Somewhat Disagree — 8%
    Strongly Disagree — 3%
    Don't Know — 8%

81% of American Mulsims polled believe in this form of RADICAL islam!! Just a small group??, I don't think so!
