We were just renting a tiny base with the $67 million. Russia apparently wanted to buy the whole country. Truthfully, after having seen the place up close, they overpaid. lol
They consider all of those ex USSR countries as the "near abroad", and they will not be happy until they are all back into the snug clutches of the Russian bear.
