Eh - an armed society is one that lives in fear. Thats been my experience growing up in the ghettos of East New York where guns flowed like candy and infants, and teenaged boys where killed daily to the tune of over 2000 lives a year just in 1 community until our great Republican Mayor melted 50,000 illegal guns, a lot of them tech 9s, off the streets. Enforcing the law and protecting lives is such a radical idea sometimes. Thank god for Rudy. The same is holding true in Iraq today. Their number one problem is the place is flooded with weapons. Or maybe one should research the Yeminite Gun culture, or the Afgan Gun Culture. Weapons owned by individuals without training and dicipline lead directly to indiscriminant murder and a society that lives in fear, or do we still need to learn the lessons of Romeo and Julliet 400 plus years after Shakespear wrote it. Off Topic but worth mentioning at this time of the year.... Ruben
