America's VERY FIRST battle with Islamic Terrorists...

Here is the United States of America, just starting out, and islamic terrorists wasted no time with their jihad against our newly founded country of infidels:

"Several muslim countries along the North African coast had established the tradition of plundering the ships of European and American merchants in the western Mediterranean and eastern Atlantic, capturing the crews and then demanding ransom from the respective governments for their release. In a joint message to their superiors in Congress, John Adams and Thomas Jefferson described the audacity of these terrorist attacks, pirates leaping onto defenseless ships with daggers clenched in their teeth."

They had asked the ambassador from Tripoli, Adams and Jefferson explained, on what grounds these outrageous acts of unbridled savagery could be justified??:

"The Ambassador answered us that it was founded on the laws of the prophet, that it was written in their koran, that all nations who should not have acknowledged their [islams] authority were sinners, that it was their right and duty to make war (jihad) upon them wherever they could be found, and to make slaves of all they could take as prisoners...."

This event occured between 1784-1789 while Jefferson was ambassador to France and Adams (2nd president) was ambassador to England.

It is a shame how little Americans know of their world today never mind mind the lessons from yesterday.

I suspect a lot of Americans know about the Barbary Pirates. Probably most Marines. I'll bet fewer Americans know about the Halls of Montezuma. Probably very few Mexicans. If my memory serves me properly, the United States took over Mexico City (a population of one million) with about two thousand soldiers.

The only comeback you ever have is to show people how superior to them you are by throwing out one and two sentence insulting comebacks (and I've been the recipient of such insults). The world is a far more complicated place than that. Its difficulties cannot be fixed by the bumper sticker mentality you seem to espouse.

 

You are right KLJ...his mentality and ability to have a rational discussion is no better than what you would read on a VW-Bus from the 60's. Instead of articulating a complete and rational thought, I see that he still is resorting back to the same old name calling. Typical...soooooo typical.

Back to the subject....

Before the United States existed, the main reason why Columbus was sailing west was so he could find a trading route with the Far East. Now, many scholars in the civilized world (at that time) knew about the the Far East, but could only get there one of two ways: sail around Africa or travel overland.

Now sailing around Africa was obviously a very long voyage (and dangerous) so what was the alternative? Travel by land! Now here's the problem that many historians never shared with us, if you were traveling over land, you were going right through the heart of islamic-muslim territory. These islamics animals wanted nothing to do with the west except to enslave them, tax them, or kill them. As islam was spreading under the threat of the sword, anybody who thought about safe passage through this hell hole was out of his mind.

Actually, what happened to the United States in its earliest years was happening to all infidels in the region for hundred's of years! Here's ONE example (if you want more, I have a "bunch"):

My point? Since its founding, islam has been on a non-stop jihad. Their koran CLEARLY justifies these actions and killings.

Remember...us infidels have to convert, be enslaved, be taxed or be killed under the laws of islam. Could you imagine the expressions on Jefferson and Adam's faces when the ambassador explained that their actions under islamic law were justified!?! At least we took action to kill those islamic animals back then instead of to appease them.

If you don't learn from history, you are bound to repeat it.

 

There is little else to say to someone who advocates genocide. It is morally outrageous.

 

Your post consistantly fan the fire of hate, and I am surprised that there are those who represent themselves as "Christian " preachers who back you up. Then again there were many "Christian" preachers who backed Hitler.

My recurring question remains unanswered. Why not utilize the Ignore Function?

 

I have that issue under ignore myself after following the reasoning of others but once in a while the puppet is quoted ,which I guess is an indirect quote, and I see the voice of Islam. Even with sunglasses on.

 

You might want to actually get your facts correct. In my post the only thing I said about his position was that he had one. I didn't support it or oppose it. His beliefs weren't the point of my post. I was commenting on your response to his position. You wouldn't reply to that. You tried to re-center back on his position. You don't have confidence enough in your own beliefs to debate them. I'm perfectly willing to debate Christianity. I have nothing to fear. You, however, jumped quickly to making aspersions about me personally. Again, your last sentence just shows your shallow, bumper-sticker mentality.

 

Now clearly 2 of the posters here advocate genocide, (that is not an exaggeration). They consistantly present obscure trivia in such a way as to incite others to adopt a similar attitude toward genocide. I find this outrageous and NO I will not engage in debate with their outrageous and simply evil statements, YES I will always point out that their motivation is to encourage genocide. This falls under the "voice in the wilderness" category.

I have never read of you advocating genocide, but neither do I read of you opposing it (and yes it is wrong to just stand by on an issue like genocide).

 

Getting back on topic.
Read history, read the koran and then one will know one's enemy.
As for Islam, it is evil that does not only destroy those who refuse it but also those who were born into it.
Muslims are as much as victims of Islam as the people who fill the graveyards that span the world from it's jihad march.

 

I was watching C-Span and this subject came up. It is estimated that during the period of 1750 to 1820, over 1.1 million non-muslims were forced into slavery, taxed, and/or killed because the muslims in Northern Africa were just following their beloved Koran.

Our country's first battle (..."to the shores of Tripoli) was c/o of islamic radicals and I will bet that these people will be this country's last battle.

It's called history but you will never find it in our government school text books because we don't want to offend followers of islam.

"Tough" I say, America's children needs to learn who and WHY we are fighting. This is not an isolated incident...this has been going on for CENTURIES!!!

Our Marines took the fight against these islamic animals over 200 years ago and will probably have to fight them for another 200 years.
