I love the Three stooges. And Warner Bros. cartoons are the best, hands down. I also love Family Guy. Nothing is off limits with that show.

The only thing missing in Valkyrie is Katie Holmes and a couchjumping scene.

For some really well animated and topical for the day cartoons try installing Limewire free version.Type in banned cartoons and resist the temptation to type in porno.
Some of the best and funniest cartoons are here for the downloading , ive almost filled an 8.4gb dvd.
Banned for being politically uncorrect , some are almost impossible to see why , others not so difficult.
There is a lot to be learned here folks , most of these were done in the 40's and prior , but the lesson they try to teach us is remarkably similar to todays.

I never really cared to watch it, seemed like a waste of time. But when I do watch it, I usually watch the beginning so it's at least more amusing.

    Round 2

Fire up the TV and the bong if you are so inclined , American idol auditions ..woo hooo

I still dont know who the new female judge is , never heard of her , dont much like her or Paula , neither have enough backbone to be a judge.
Randy Jackson is just a joke , Simon Cowell really is the only honest judge out the lot.

My front runners from last week are the tattooed chic that sang Barracuda and the semi blind piano player , i include him as im sure he will get the sympathy vote and go the distance to the last 20 maybe , depends if he can play anything other than what im guessing will be lots of Billy Joel.

There were one or two others that will do well but not as well as the two mentioned.

I don't watch much TV, but I do admit to Beavis and Butthead Moron-a-thons when they run them, and History, Discovery channel type stuff.

I'll get a box set of DVD's , watch them all, then trade in on another. My last 3 were the Sopranos ( wifes from Jersey ) , The Shield and my newest is HBO's " The Wire ".

Southpark can be downright hilarious. I hated that show at first untill I got to know the characters.

Oh, and there's always Ginger on old Gilligan's Isle reruns;)

My one network TV addiction returns tomorrow. Lost. And, I didn't get hooked on it until I was deployed and someone had the first 2 seasons on DVD...and I made the mistake of watching them.

Speaking of DVD sets, have you seen HBO's Deadwood series yet? I watched it on another deployment and thought it was good. I think they only did 3 seasons. Worth a rental if you are into that kind of show. Lots of profanity, though.

If its the same Deadwood i seen that on telly back in the UK years ago , it was excellent.
DVD box sets :D I got Blackadders entire collection for xmas , ordered the entire dvd set of still game last night :)
Already have almost all the Monty Python movies , got a multiregion player from amazon and am in region 2 hog heaven.

Family guy is about the best thing on TV now , perfect prelude to American Idol.

Family guy is great. Deadwood is kinda hokey. And Jesus Christ, can they say the word c--ksucker enough on that show?

"can they say the word c--ksucker enough on that show?"

Hahaha it is the same deadwood:)

Nobody stood out on Idol tonight , its so edited though a viewer only sees 50% of those going through, they waste a lot of time on people who shouldnt even have got that far.
Some kind of preliminary audition off camera would be useful but most people only watch to see the worst of them so the show would sink without the lunatics..speaking of which i wonder if Isaiah will audition

I never watch any of those so called "talent" scouting shows, they hold absolutely no interests whatsoever.

Lately Discovery Channel has been embargoing our TV, "Deadliest Catch" "Dirty Jobs" "Mythbusters". Oh and TruTV and "Operacion Repo".

..sigh.. the whole point of the show is the pathetic auditions , once in a while you do get a genuine nutcase , its funny.
Tonights should be good , apparantly some dude makes threats to the judges.
Sad..yes , aint much else on is the honest truth.

Early on, I enjoyed the set up auditions. It was fairly fresh and occasionally entertaining especially with Simon. But, it has gotten pretty old to me. They are even more obvious as setups now and even Simon seems bored with the whole thing.
