Almost lost my cookies...

Clinton was left off the hook by the Republicans for obstruction of justice and lying to a federal investigator. The republicans thought that a man should not have to answer embrassing questions when no crime was broken and then charged with a crime for not answering bogus charges. Clinton fooled around but it was not a crime so the republicans let him off the hook at his impeachment hearing. You think the democrats will do the same now with this so called CIA scandal. (The bottom line was no law was broken about speaking of that women. which is why there is no charge on that. The charges are the same as what was filed on Clinton and Martha Stewart in not confessing to a non-crime). The women was not an active agent and she was home based when talked about. In addition she was never a real agent but a political appointment which what was discussed informally to various members of the press who were researching the validity of the sources. However, it is being called a leak by the leftwing press. The women from the Times did not play ball with her leftwing paper and was fired.

 

ah "so called" i hear these words alot on the news. its only "so called" when the dems break a law when you watch cnn. and "so called" when a repub breaks the law and you watch fox.

saying "so called" is a way to deflate the seriousness of an action.

just like "alleged" "rummored" would be used to say someone did it with out being liable for slander/libel.

 

What we have rambozo is a very dangerous thing going on where people are being investigated for non-crimes and this is both republican and democrat and if they say anything incorrectly by memory failure or from embrassment they are being charged with a crime(obstruction of justice, etc.). The whole thing is that there was no crime to begin with. This was the case with Clinton and Monica, this was the case with Martha Steward, this is becoming the case with Libby or whatever that guys name is.

 

It may be getting very ugly fo Bush with depending on the Woodward thing.
