The Democrats are angry because they figure that the Supreme Court is that branch of government that can keep them from their goals. The Dems who know some history recall that the Supreme Court struck down the FDR's National Revovery Administration (NRA). They actually did him a favor because it was an ill-conceived plan that did more harm than good. That was one of the reasons why FDR tried to pack the court in 1937.
I'm more just frustrated with the hypocrisy to be honest. And a bit embarrassed for our country as a whole that a reality tv businessman has named 3 of the current justices.

I'm thinking that Biden should do exactly what FDR did. If the Supreme Court decides to strike down any of his policies like the SC of the 30's did with Roosevelt's New Deal legislation, just threaten to seat 6 more justices. This would be no more a departure from norms than what the Republicans did to get the judiciary to the place it is today. Live by the sword, die by the sword.
