People that are born, soldiers, the like, have choices. They can choose to live where they do. They can choose to do something that will get them killed. They can't always choose to live or die, but at least they have a better chance than an unborn fetus. There is a difference between a murder and a casualty. I knew you were going to take it there.

If the fetus was a life, and not a collection of undefined stem cells, it should have been able to survive being removed from the wall of my girlfriends uterus by a pill..

a 2 year old could not survive being dumped in the middle of the interstate from a car going 95 miles per hour, but that doesn't make it any less of a "life."

Different stages of life require different levels of protection. In the womb stage of life, the baby needs protection and sustenance from the mother. In the toddler stage of life, that same baby needs protection and sustenance from someone. Later on, they start to develop independence and rely less and less on others.

But it is silly to think that that early dependence (or any later) discredits a "life"

 

I see your point, but what's done is done. I wish it hadn't happened but I know it was for the best, sadly. I do love kids.. At the point we decided to terminate the pregnancy, the fetus was a collection of 2 kinds of undifferenctiated stem cells. We were 2 people in our mid 30's, fully capable of making our own decisions. Sorry to those who can't understand.. I don't need you to.

What is done is not done my friend, you must still face judgement for the innocent life you took, time to stop bashing soldiers, presidents, and everyone else because you just proved your just as bad, or worse than everyone you attack.
