BTW, you need to speak to your fellow progressive. Mr. Holder has probably done more to assure your wishes never come true then any "Con" could hope to accomplish. Arming those drug cartels should just about assure people in that area will need guns.

Funny interpretation. I've always been for responsible gun laws not the free-for-all wild west you cons dream of. I don't need the security a gun under my pillow the way RW'ers do. They are born cowards and would probably shoot themselves in the foot if there was any kind of real emergency anyway. It’s really too bad you guys need to find your courage from a loaded gun.

See what happens when you generalize. People will generalize right back at you.

Say what?!?!? Talking out of both sides of your mouth like you'd make a wonderful used car salesman.

I've been out of town for a few weeks so I'll go back to the OP.

Granted a sign that states NO CONCEALED WEAPONS is probably NOT the brightest but who's to say that WITHOUT that sign this tragedy could have stopped almost instantly?

Seriously. Were ANY of the folks on this forum there?

Had the sign NOT been there would that assure that there was a healthy number of people packing concealed? Like maybe 90% and all on the lookout for madman? I doubt it for some reason.

Considering it seems they didn't have metal detectors etc. there actually MAY have been a few "honest" citizens in there packing. Of course when the bullets start flying it's a different story.
Talking tough is REAL easy but if bullets are flying I'm willing to bet the first order of business would be trying NOT to get shot.

Sure someone may have just happened to have a good shot and ended it earlier but once again, as far as I know, none of us were there.

As for the "pathetic leftys" I think it's a shame you even typed that Jack. Considering that I lean left, own a gun, have no problem with people owning guns or even having the right to carry concealed guns it's rather insulting.
For some reason I'm lead to believe I'm not the ONLY "pathetic lefty" to hold these same views.

If folks want to go out and arm heavily because of horrible incidents like this then go do it. Gun and ammo sellers love it. Prices will continue to rise and I've heard "they're a great investment" too many times.

Besides. Just how many weapons can you feasibly conceal at any given time? How many can you shoot at one time?

There was a tragedy in Colorado. That's the bottom line to me and it just as easily could have been in a WalMart, the grocery store and numerous other places.
