Research shows Republicans earn a bit more more but Libs far & away control the wealth in our country. Goes back to the same old tax argument...since wealth is taxed at a much lower rate that earnings the libs aren't so opposed to income tax hikes.
Hey, I agree. I have no allegiance to the left or right that are in that top 2%. Pelosi and Reid have been ineffective and the fact that they are in that 2% is probably the main reason for it. The rich aren't going to do anything to cut their own throats. That's the reason we need representatives whose morals reflect the 98%, ALL 98%, and not the other way around. I agree with the premise that cash needs to be largely removed from the election process, but, we're past that now, since the supreme court has decided for us all, that money should be endless and hidden, so we're screwed anyway. "My" party is just about as guilty as the right when it comes to the 2% thing. On the other hand, you gotta admit, that cash, wealth, and more wealth, is what the republican party is all about. Hence, my automatic disregard and opposition to that party which makes no bones about who they represent. The less stink between the two turds thing again. It is what it is.
So stop voting for both of them, do something about the problem, and run for office yourself. Oh wait, you don't have solutions. You just know how to complain!
