I heard a Nostradomas guy on Art Bell last nioght so I thought I would get all trance like and spue out some predictions. Lets put some predictions out there. 1. Money will adopt a different nature as our ability to exploit our environment with technology increases. Neccesities will be free and luxeries will require some sort of "currency". 2. Law and the justice system will adopt a different nature also as increased survaillance (sp?) and advanced CSI type tech provide us with certain facts that make convicting crimianals much easier (thus crime will all but disappear). 3. A common culture will emerge throughout the world that will encompass all cultures and exponentially increase every aspect of the humn experience. These types of things will happen before 2020.:hatch:

President Bush already signed the "Security and Prosperity Partnership for North America" that calls for the merger of Canada, USA and Mexico into a single political entity with a single currency. The recent immigration bill contains provisions for accelerating its implementation. This regional entity along with the European Union are the first steps to eliminating the existence of independent nations. So I agree that we are well on the way to "exponentially increase every aspect of the human experience" including the aspects of poverty and the elimination of the personal liberty that is/was the central organizing principle of the United States. But most people don't care, others don't know, and some actually welcome the end of constitutional government. It's very very sad.
Blowback from the Iraq war comes to the U.S. in the form of disaffected Iraqi terrorists. Al Qaeda wishes they could do what Iraqi terrorists are accomplishing on American soil. Nobody remembers that George Bush and the Neocons began this debacle and who ever is in the White House at the time is blamed. Americans have such short memories.

After the enviroment hits a bottom due to the industrial revolution, I will predict three things, hopefully after the year 2020: 1.) A return to the barter system. 2.) High ground in Antartica and Canada as well as northern Eurasia will become extremely valuable. 3.) Paris Hilton gets out of jail!
