I believe there was a cover up to creat the " Patriot Act" I dont necessarally believe all of the points about the 911 conspiracy, but do believe something is wrong. Look, if you really want to know what is usually at the root of most "conspiracies" and their spin-offs "conspiracy theories", it is usually just people in high places trying to cover up their own incompetence and poor judgment. IMO almost every conspiracy theory takes on a life of its own in order to suppress inquires into the real facts that would make the individuals involved look pretty bad if they ever came out. Conspiracies are useful tools for useful idiots, nothing more. Damn entertaining though!
Moen, I tried to explain that to Tom several times during the course of this thread. 9/11 was not an inside job, but the response from the government agencies was embarrasing. I didn't hear any one of them standing up to take responsibility for their screw ups that day. Of course they lied to cover their own butts.
