Your right Danr, why don't you start a fund for the erection of a monument to those killed every day by drunk drivers. A fitting use of your time and it will be appreciated by everyone involved, form the person who first issued the drivers license right up to the funeral director. Now all we need is a fitting name for the program and a bank ac**** to deposit all the money that will be flooding in from across this land.

Point #1: Your answer really hurts me deeply. I was just getting used to thinking of you as a more mature and disciplined individual, and then you take off on this last rampage against what someone is saying. I get no personal satisfaction seeing you get your brains knocked out, any more than I would seeing a puppy getting kicked by a mule.
Point #2: Life boring, I think not. Just wrote two checks for a total of 198,000.oo and doubled the interest being received from one of my banks. Hardly boring.
Point #3: When you live where I do, you actually spend very little time in doors. Beatutful skys, lush green hills and big fat Buffalo grazing around about, needing tending and hurding. No I can't really say I'm in a lot. In fact I sit here in the Jeep and use this laptop to do my correspondance on while watching what is being done on the place. Got to keep those Mexicans busy or they get in trouble and you got to go bail them out of jail.

If you wish to remain amicable don't throw inflammatory comments into conversations you're not part of especially if they mock, insinuate, chastise, belittle, or cast aspersions on me or my stated positions or the gloves are off, simple as that. Read with pleasure but keep your opinion to yourself unless you are prepared to roll around in the mud with the rest of the farm animals.

You and I have disagreed and agreed on many issues but you continually insert glib comments into multiple threads designed only to fan the flames of disharmony. You are well known for this practice in this forum and the evidence of this behavior is strewn across countless threads that one would only need to look up all of your post to see. I honestly miss the rare times when you bring up insightful topics rather than just fomenting controversy with one or two line “zingers”. Your years of experience and knowledge make you a valuable resource with much to offer. It is unfortunate that you so often prefer the gratification of reading two members with opposing viewpoints go at each other and even to the point of injection vitriolic rhetoric to keep the fires burning.

On occasion, my disagreements with other members that have lingered beyond one or two posts and carried over into other threads were usually with narrow-minded bigoted Conservatives because I, like you, won’t take any guff from anyone much less someone that I find so morally reprehensible. We are alike in that respect and when we should probably ignore people of that ilk, we prefer to rely on our gift of gab rather than our good senses. You don’t like being told what to do anymore than I do and this often leads us down a path of dispute that we probably wouldn’t have opted to follow. But we are who we are and we will probably not change anytime soon. That is my take on the whole issue and you of course can take it or leave it at that. It’s all good to me. :hug:

I've never minded people taking shots at me, I just feel that they shouldn't be surprised or indignant when they see a round or two coming back at them. It's the nature of things after all.

BTW Einstein, An apostrophe used in a contraction is placed at the point of the missing letter such as Ol' (That's O-L- apostrophe) of the word "Old" NOT at the beginning of the word as you seem to think. I have been laughing at that for some time now and thought I should bring it to your attention. But again, just more to laugh at when it comes to you. Now we'll have to see if your ego allows you to correct it.
