One million people wanting to recall hm is 30,000 less people than the number that voted against him in the 2010 election. He is getting more popular. ;)

Sorry. You'll have to trust me. I watch MSNBC, but you've said previously that you don't. I'm not doing your homework for you.

Can't argue with that logic Stu.

The petitioners needed 540,000 signatures. They were shooting for 720,000. Why? - because of the risk of duplicate signatures etc.
They got over a million. A decent cushion I'd say.

In no way does this mean he is out of office. Something rlm and I agreed on in another thread.

I've heard he's immensely popular with children from the ages of 5-16 which could sway the numbers his way. IF their parents love them and follow their children's advice that is.
Ok, I'm being a bit sarcastic here but why not?

In the meantime he's been out getting campaign money. Seemingly from anyone he can. He was in New York with AIG when the petitions were being delivered in his home state of Wisconsin.
He also seems rather notorious for his association with the Koch brothers. Bet he'd lick their boots clean for money.

That aside it seems, at this point, there will be an election. The Dems have not announced a candidate but why would they? It would seem to me it makes sense to see if there will be a recall election first.
If there is, and I believe there will be, the Dems need to choose a candidate and start raising money.

Before I hear the "it's dirty politics, the unions will contribute" I'll head it off and let you decide.
Politics is dirty and the unions will contribute.
How is that any different than Walker being out of state looking for money from the big money corporations? Is he seeking money or jobs for the state of Wisconsin?
I would surmise both but not really because of his love for the people of Wisconsin. Killing every union = cheap labor. Cheap labor is something the big corporations love.
Who cares if they just get by? The numbers look real good unless you're one that faces losing your house etc.

Walker may win and Walker may lose. What's really pertinent to me is that it has come this far in the first place.

If nothing else it has been proven that there a lot of really pi$$ed of people out there. Whether or not you agree does not change that fact nor will it change it in the future.

It ain't just Wisconsin folks. May be wise to take note of that.
