I would like to sincerely congratulate President-elect Trump on his victory. Democrats and Republicans in the Senate and the House should come together to work to make this country great again. President-elect Trump has many great ideas and I would like to see both parties of Congress work with him to see that the agenda for which the American people elected him comes to pass. Let's put the bitterness of the recent campaigns behind us. We are stronger together. I call on all Democrats to join Republicans in celebrating this historic moment in our country and to take this moment to say that any ill will should be forgotten. President-elect Trump's run for the presidency was phenomenal. Let's reflect and celebrate the sometimes-chaotic way of American politics and the way we, as citizens, elect our leaders. I understand there will be bitterness, fear and hatred from President-elect Trump's opponents, but I suppose that's only human nature when your candidate doesn't win. But, the old adage says, "If you can't beat them, join them". So, I'm asking our former opponents to join us as we work to make America the best country it can possibly be. After all, when it comes down to the nitty-gritty, we are ALL Americans who dream that our country will succeed. I'm asking for your support of President-elect Trump to see those dreams come true.
Sad really. I knew that there were a lot of dumb racist bigots in this country but I didn't want to believe that there was actually as many as there seems to be today. Today the stock market is about 18,300, the price of gas is about 2 bucks a gallon, the unemployment rate is at 4.9 percent, and we have 90% of our citizens with health care. What do you guess those numbers are going to be in 4 years? Hum?
Obviously there are less than 50% since Hillary lost. BTW, 25,000; 4.8%, $1.619, & 89%. Oh, and ISIS will be shrinking instead of growing, illegal immigration will have been curtailed, the IRS will treat everyone fairly, there will be no more home servers in the government, etc. If we are lucky, Syria and Iran might actually be countries again.
Ha, the 2 morons are eating crow today. Gloating feels good....draining the swamp feels good...sending the corrupt scumbags back to NY or Chicago or Arkansas feels good...the people rebuking BO's failures feels good....shutting down Clinton , Inc feels good and shining a light on the Clinton Cash Foundation is going to feel good!
I would like to take just a moment to gloat and then it's time to get down to the business of making our country great again. There are those on this forum (you know who you are) who pleaded for Donald Trump to run against Hillary Clinton. You got your wish - how do you feel now? Pundits, talking heads and other assorted know-nothings thought Hillary had this one in the bag. Well, Americans came out in force and showed you exactly how wrong you were. The people have spoken. That's how democracy works. This was truly an historic election. People will be talking about this one for years to come. Not since Eisenhower has a person won the presidency without first serving some sort of political office. As we see, being a hostess at the White House, a carpetbagging senator or an appointed secretary was not enough to win against a man who is virtually an elemental force by himself. President-elect Trump accomplished this nearly on his own without benefit of much support from the Republican Party and on a (relatively speaking) shoestring budget. It seemed as if the armies of the liberals were aligned against him and that his cause was hopeless. Nothing was further from the truth. Working-class Americans propelled him to the White House. He's not in bed with the elitists, the rich, the powerful, the lobbyists or special interest groups. This is, without a doubt, the most incredible election many of us have seen in our lifetimes.
Yes, this was certainly a rebuke of Obama. But, honestly, it was bound to eventually happen. As we all know, socialism is not sustainable. America got a big taste of it and spit it out. Good riddance, Obama and socialism. I believe we've seen the last of Slick Willie and 'illary except maybe when they come to tour the White House or are put on a coin. Two-time loser 'illary is so old and feeble now, there's no way she will run again in 4 years. Goodbye, 'illary. It was nice knowing you. Wait..... no, it wasn't.
I couldn't have said it better myself. Oh, by the way... you predicted that 'illary would win. You said you'd seen a vision, could predict the future or some other such nonsense. What happened? Please explain......
iqless, you may want to consider Canada or Mexico. It's not going to be a comfortable ride for you & your ilk.
LOL! Honestly, I don't think anyone has a problem with the term "Madam President" as long as it wasn't used on that complete loser the Democrats put up this time. Anyway, everyone can get used to saying "Mr. President" or "President Trump" now.
