With the Schumer shutdown in its final death throes, it seems appropriate to look back at the longest government shutdown in history. So, looking back at the farce the democrats made of democracy, we can see that the democrats held firm hoping to use the shutdown to their advantage. They held the SNAP program (Food Stamps) hostage for nothing other than trying to leverage their position. All the while, children went hungry. Our Armed Forced went unpaid. Government workers were left in limbo as to whether they could survive without income to pay their bills. All because Schumer and the democrats wanted leverage in order to try to get their way. But, their gamble backfired tremendously. Today, democrats are calling for Schumer's head on a platter. They may well get it. Schumer walked away from the shutdown with.... nothing. And for that, say the democrats, there is hell to pay.
I can't wait to watch AOC follow in Schumer's footsteps. America ain't NYC, and it for sure ain't buyin' what she's sellin'.

Doesn't matter, my intention was to correct, but I am old. Besides, I don't like the letter 'N'. It is one of the letters in HER name.
It looks like Hakeem Jeffries might be the next target of the democrats’ ire. Good. I hope they kick this feckless, so-called “leader” to the curb. He is Nancy Pelosi’s baby and with her retiring, he won’t have that sugar t*t to suckle anymore.
While it would not break my heart to never see that face on my TV ever again, I fear the next crop of lefties are way more radical.
