Oh yeah, Georgie has a role here. Romney has already doubled-down on the George Bush policies that brought this country to its economic knees. In fact he would go further giving millionaires and billionaires even more tax breaks, increasing military adventures and spending, and driving up spending and debt while placing even more financial burden on the middle class. If you can articulate even one major difference between Bush and Romney's economic policies, you're a better man than I. First Republi-CONs driving this country into a deep hole and now they want to toss in a backhoe to see how much deeper they can dig. The RW'ers that elected Bush in the first place and Bush himself now think Romney is the best choice for the country. Hum? Maybe lack of credibility on the issue and ideologically driven policies force sane people to back away slowly from the definition of insanity. Role unlikely for George W. Bush in Romney bid CHARLOTTE, N.C. — After months of silence, George W. Bush finally weighed on the presidential race — with four short words. "I'm for Mitt Romney," the former president said Tuesday in Washington as the doors of his elevator shut, perhaps his only public statement on the race before the Nov. 6 election. Romney's campaign doesn't foresee the 43rd president playing a substantive role in the race. Aides are carefully weighing how much the former president should be involved in the GOP convention — and for good reason. The Bush fatigue that was a drag on GOP nominee John McCain four years ago, and on the country, still lingers, including among Republicans. "The Iraq war? The economy? Let's not revisit President Bush's record," Richard Rinaldi, a 72-year-old Republican, said at a Romney rally last week in Charlotte. "There's no desire to see him campaigning." Standing nearby, Roger Burba, a 73-year-old Republican from Pineville, N.C., put it this way: "He's back in Texas, where he should be." http://xfinity.comcast.net/articles/news-politics/20120516/US.Bush.Romney/
Lets be honest here he wouldn't go out of his way and tell Republicans to vote for the opposition now would he? LOL
Careful, that comes very close to actually responding to one of my posts. I'll tell Coin and rlm on you.
Jr.'s expected to support whoever eventually won. The same with David here. He too has to wait and see who actually won before he supports the person. And neither Jr. or David is any kind of boon to a candidate.
Yes, they can all fall in line now. I'm sure Davy was more of a supporter of the old Santorum act. He is all about the Santorum. In fact, he literally oozes Santorum. I think most of these RW'ers are totally in bed with Santorum but are too shy to come out of the closet for Santorum. Oh sure, they'll say that they're for Mittens but when it comes right down to it, Santorum is what they live for. It's OK guys, we won't judge you.
