Some disgruntled Russians start their own Rep. shades of 2014 Ukraine. This time its in a NATO Nation. Lets see if the Russians have the balls to invade Baltics, and provoke a Article 5 response.
I doubt it. Since Putin's economy is decimated, no money, no materiel, no soldiers.
This goes back to 1940, when the Russians annexed the three Baltic States, Stalin sent in his Reds to pacify the population. The dreaded NKVD started murdering men/ boys off fighting age, most escaped into the forests to hide. Women, girls, esp. the hot ones, were gang raped ny NKVD, red army officers, commissars. When Germany launched Barbarossa in June 22 1941, they made quick work of the Reds. Germans were hailed as liberators. But 600K had been deported to Siberian hell holes (GULAGS) most died. The "boys" that hid in the forest came out and wanted revenge vs the hated Russians. All foreigners who wanted to join wehrmacht were conscripted into three Waffen SS Volunteer Divisions, 2 Latvian, 1 Estonia. They would valiantly fight till the last Battle of Narva were 20K SS held back 300K red army units for 6 months.
When WW2 ended, Russia re-occupied the 3 Baltic States. The survivors again hid in the woods, formed anti Soviet partisan brigades, fought vs the Reds till Stalins death in 1953. After, 1945, many ethnic Russians were given the land, farms, homes fronpeople who they deported, murdered.
