After all these many years the Canadians have finally got a belly full of the liberal leadership currently in power. It would appear that Stephen Harper will be taking over the helm, and old Martin getting caught with his hand in the 'kick-back' jar isn't going to stop him this time. Almost makes me want to consider living in Canada. Will have to see the results of our 2008 election first, lol...
Canada has enormous advantages these days. The strength in pricing for timber, energy and metals has helped power the Canadian economy to budget and trade surpluses, and has strenghtened the currency. It would be hard for either political party in Canada to mess that up, and naturally both sides will take credit for a trend not of their making and completely beyond their control.
