Yes, yes yes. Now that the Palestinians have officialy elected a terrorist group, not government, Israel will know exactly where to drop it's bombs, in addition, of course, to Iran. Okay, guerrila warfare is not AS much as a problem for Israel as it is for the United States and European countries, as the IDF asks prefers to shoot first and question later. I would not blink an eye to wake up one day and find that Islam is a religion of the past. In fact, I would then :eat: :eating: .
Calling all Euros. Make yourselves usefull and tell us dumb Yanks if you think Russia and China are planning to dink around with this Iranian nuclear issue in an attempt to gain advantage over the United States. You probably have different sources of information and analysis. I would like to see some informed analysis.
The Chinese and Russian governments are in different situations as far as Iran is concerned, I think. China is currently an extremely "resource hungry" country and probably very interested in natural gas from Iran. Russia has quite a few natural resources itself and will gladly export natural gas, for example, to Western and Central Europe (and gladly use it as a means of pressure). But if the Iran issue helps Russia to get back to the center of the stage, the Russian government will of course try and play the "fair" mediator ... As for European sources, well, I cannot translate everything I read into English. But DW's foreign language service is IMO a fairly good source: http://www.dw-world.de/dw/article/0,2144,1876338,00.html (in English, from today's news) http://www.dw-world.de/dw/article/0,2144,1859223,00.html (en - documentary collection of articles) Christian
Those brief DW articles are just more of the same stuff we see on all the domestic cable news channels. Those articles don't really address the real Russian and Chinese factors. I am convinced that the Russians and Chinese are playing games and placing everyone at risk. At least the United States and Great Britain are not alone this time. Much will be revealed when the matter eventually goes before the United Nations Security Council.
