I am not lock step with NC (I believe in God) but his thought are worth hearing. It is silly to say that because he does not believe in God he is wrong about everything and we should discount everything he says.

 

Yes but follow my line of thought for a moment.
Any person who rejects science in the name of god is as blind as any person who rejects god in the name of science.

Personally I feel that they are connected just as I feel that anyone who says one must not believe in god to find freedom of thought is as thoughtless as the man who listens to the preacher without looking into his own heart and mind.

I am not only not a fan of Chomsky but I find his whole school of thought to be thoughtless and invalid due to a lack of logic.
He is more emotional then cognitive.

 

Gerry Adams & Martin McGuinness also deserve to be put to
death.They are among the worst criminals in this day & age.Sinn Fein/I.R.A. are not genuine soldiers or freedom fighters at all.They are nothing but barbarians who have been killing innocent people since 1916,& it is still continuing today,despite the false claims by Adams & McGuinness that Sinn Fein/I.R.A. are advocates of peace.

The sooner that Sinn Fein/I.R.A. are biffed into the dustbin of history,the better! Their presence today is beyond a joke,

I have just been reading this thread and I'd like to make a comment on the original topic. This idea has been stated more or less already but here is my version.
In 1999 in the U.S. there were approximately 3500 death row inmates. Of those one in twelve had a prior conviction for murder.This gives us almost 300 innocent victims. It seems a bit cold, perhaps, but you have to kind of play the numbers, in my opinion there were not likely that many wrongful death penalty convictions.
So the issue is not one of punishment or revenge,but rather, public safety.

they anesthetize, and its also retardedly stupid to make them wait 30 years before they ever take an hour to kill them, and 30,000 of taxpayer money per a year.

You are right, the only reason we aren't hearing anything about this one is because he' almost 80 years of age, totally blind and WHITE. Nothing here for the bleeding hearts to make political hay with. No death watches called by the ACLU or anything.

I will have to admit it is a good way to reduce the over crowding of the prisons in California.

 

If they would expedite the evacuation of Death Row and deport all the alien prisoners California could probably close a prison or two.

 

Really have you ever heard of a prison closing. I honestly can't remember ever hearing of a prison closing, all I ever hear is about overcrowding.

 

Is this the one that is taking like 20 years to kill and has ordered people to be killed from jail while serving time for murder in the first place. Not really knowing the story but if it is I could see why the leftist media would be quiet on it for the story supports not only the rational on why we need the death sentence but also how it needs to be carried out fast and not delayed till it means little to nothing.

And Danr of course the prison population would go up as long as the population increases and do not forget the criminals who cross our borders to conduct their affairs for after all there is more money to be made from crime in the US then in Mexico, etc.. and if caught our prisons are like a hotel to them.

 

Well it's the same old story, modern education and the new teeney bopper's education. Guess they never mentioned Alcatraz and it closing. What a shame to have to tell you that there are others which have also closed, but this is probably the biggest one. Oh yes and it was in California!:desk:

 

Why'd they ever close Alcatraz? It was one of the best m-security prisons we had. Only a few people ever escaped from it. That must have been the reason they closed it. And it's because our government is getting more and more liberal.

 

There are many many more prison beds now than then.

It was closed for it was falling apart and besides who wants a prison right off the shore line of one of San Fransicos best tourist spots. As is, it became a tourist spot itself and one of the most seen in the US.

Danr, population increases means more criminals for one never mind that criminals come here to do crime for liberals make it easy for them to enter, to commit, and if caught to serve.
