Please show me the post anywhere in the forum(s) where I made a comment about spinal tissue my a position on this subject. If that is related to stem cell research, I am all for stem cell research AS LONG as it does use our federal dollars. If a private company wishes to do so, so be it. Again this goes back to the abortion versus life issue which only effecs .000001% (give or take a zero) of the population.

Is this all you got..supposedly??? Brilliant!

I don't need to have served in elected office to criticise elected officials. I don't see why it is necessary to have served in the military in order to criticise what the military does or how it is used. I support the current military and what they are doing (two things I don't believe to be separable, but that is another topic) but I don't accept that people who have not served in the military are not allowed to have an opinion on the topic. To me that just seems rediculous.

However... there is a big difference between an opinion with supporting knowledge and one without. What a former president, military officer, weapons inspector, national security advisor, etc., has to say about the war in Iraq, would hold more weight than say, an actor or musician. But I don't begrudge the uninformed their right to hold and express their opinions. It only annoys me when those opinions are treated as if they have equal, or sometimes even greater, weight than those who speak from knowledge and experience.

Did W or Cheney serve (National Guard does not count).

I like for you to tell that to National Guard members and their families face to face. Before you do, please let me pop some popcorn so I can sit back and enjoy the beating. What a ridiculos comment!...but coming from a liberal, what do you expect!

Give me a break you act as if all military people are John Wayne fighting in wars. The simple fact is that only a tiny percentage of military over the past 25 years have seen action. Most are paper pushers. The only action they see may be a paper cut.

And everytime you disagree with someone in the military, you are deserving of a beating for expressing your opinion. The same free speech they claim to be fight for. Gotta make you wonder.

I was commenting about Danr's comment that people in the National Guard "don't count"...so, yes...he deserves a beating similar to what the hippies got at the democratic convention of 1968.

You remember that year?? That is when the democratic party started their move to the far left and disregarded the principles of Truman, FDR and Kennedy.

W used the Guard as a draft dodge, and for that reason it does not count.

    Prove it Danr...just prove it!

Your hatre for W is so clear and you and your liberal friends are doing everything possible to undermind this fight against our enemies. If that means taking away his right to spy on our enemies, you will rather do that instead what is good for this country...all in an effort to see this country fail.

After all, what is bad for this country is good for you and your socialist liberal causes.

Next time you post Danr, use this color because why should you hide your true color of what kind of person you are.

Boy is your baby going to grow up and think what an A** his father is when he grows up. After all, you will not raise him because "it takes a village", according to liberals like Hillary, right?

It does make me wonder, sir! I'm wondering why 'free speech' includes such statements as:
With total disreguard for the truth, and only for the purpose of backing another statement that was foolish in the first place. The use of 'free speech' should come with some degree of honesty on the part of the user, shouldn't it?
    What is your oppinion?

Oh my God, you are telling me that Danr has a kid! It's common knowledge that when Danr was born, he was the answer to a prayer. His parents prayed that the world would be made to suffer and here Danr came along.
Now your saying he has a kid, and all this time I was in hopes he was sterile.

Think about what you are saying. Once again your ideology has blinded you, PEOPLE ARE MORE IMPORTANT THAN IDEOLOGY, think about that.

Oh by the way are you saying that W did not dodge the draft using the guard (if you are that is twilight zone stuff).

Wait a minute here are you sayin gthat W did not use the Guard to avoid the draft? I can not imagine that a person could fool themself to that extent (pretty out there Dan)

Dan, Midas you may want consider the fact that when you resort to personal attack that indicates that your position is weak. It may be time for you to rethink your position. you are both getting old and you may not want to meet your maker with hateful hearts.

I'll have to keep that is mind, but when you die, you should have your brain donated to science. I believe they're still trying to come up with the perfect vacuum.
