Is there such a thing?

Is there such a thing as an athesist christian? I do not think so but I saw it on a site I visited today and it was talking about being one. How can you be one?

 

Now I thught that Atheism was a rejection of the belief in any form of deities so I can not understand how then they could belive in Christianity

 

Hey, there are Jews for Jesus so why not. It's all an equal amount of crap in God's eye's anyway.

 

This is a Game so nothing is crap in the Eye of God, that is, the True God not the biblical One. But other than that, the bible is full of contradictions so why would man be any different?

Imagine a God, that in the creation of a Universe, also gave birth to Children and those Children are just like Her, pure energy and a form of Light and the Children are eternal in the scope of Life, just as their Mother, and then imagine those children doing nothing but sitting around contemplating the Origins of Life for an eternity? That would be pretty boring, wouldn't it?

Then imagine a Loving Caring God that makes a suggestion to Her Children:

Go play! You can't hurt one another so ask a question then go create Matrixes and answer the questions by playing them out.

Your Soul is eternal and Death is an Illusion, for what you call Life, isn't Life, you are Artificial Life and Artificial Intelligence.

One more thing, ALL matter in the Universe began as Light and through recycling, it has become what it is today. Also, God is adding virgin matter to the Universe constantly, in the form of Light, so the Universe is an Open System and the 2nd Law of Thermodynamics does NOT apply to the Universe!

I believe I was clear in my answer. He asked if I had taken a class in Thermodynamics and I asked if he had taken a class somewhere other than this planet, where you are taught that which is WRONG in your skewls. Are you aware they teach that Space-Time of numbers are in-between the numbers and kNot the numbers themselves? Are you aware that EVERY object in the Universe occupies Space-Time except for numbers? And that numbers are nothing more than numerical OBJECTS that are used to define OBJECTS in the Universe that occupy Space-Time.

Exactly. I mean, a person can call themselves whatever they want, but this is definitely contradictory, unless they are using non-standard definitions of the words "christian" and/or "atheist".

This one is actually perfectly cromulent. Jew can refer to the religion, or, more commonly, to the ethnic group. Therefore a person can be of Jewish ethnicity, and yet not have any religious belief. From what I understand, secular jews are actually quite numerous.

 

I'd be interested to hear the explanation from them as well. I would venture a guess that they are using the word "christian" loosely. Or possibly "atheist" (maybe more likely, as misunderstanding of atheism is quite common).
