What do you think Heaven is like?

Why is it when you peeps don't know the truth, you know what the truth isn't (Blue Pill Philosophy)? Just because you and others don't know the truth, doesn't mean no ONE does. ;)

As to Heaven, this is Heaven for ALL is Heaven! As to your parents, they aren't your parents, God is! Your Soul is the True Child of God and the only thing that your "parents" were responsible for was the creation of your Avatar/CaBal (CArbon BAsed Lifeform). Once you are reconnected with the Collective Consciousness (God), you will realize that ALL Souls are your brothers/sisters (Alpha & Omega) and that means your parents were actually your brothers/sisters. :D

    Ribbit :)

Ps: You sure are full of questions but that's how you're suppose to be! ;)

Then you are living the Illusion of this Matrix and soon, you'll regret not questioning everything with an open mind. So sad! :(

The end is closer than you think.

Heaven to me is like when think a day is going to be bad, but then good things happen. Hell is when you run out of toilet paper, and no one's around, and the car's broke down. Those are like... levels of Hell I think lol

I'm one of the few in my area that love the rain, thunderstorms, the cold, the snow, cloudy days... to me they are comforting and peaceful.

An example of the differences though: I have two cats, one growls and hides during thunderstorms, the other sits with me at a window lol

Should Heaven be a place, or should it be a state of mind? That is to say, will there be an entrance into Heaven? Will it be announced that I'm now being admitted into Heaven? (You'll notice I never indicated any doubt about the possibility of my being admitted into it; I just want to know if there will be an announcement.)

Or is it that we'll just know that we're in Heaven? Which is to say, our state of mind will indicate that we're in Heaven.

This state of mind business could have it's drawback. If, suppose, you feel that you're now in Heaven; and then you look around you, and you see people that you don't feel deserve to be in Heaven; that will ruin your heavenly feeling. You probably already know who deserves to be with you in Heaven, and who doesn't.

So we opt for the formal entry; the opening of the gates; the announcement. Of course, in this case too there may be the odd case who really shouldn't have been permitted in with you. But, you can't dictate terms in this place.

My reason for going this route to the possibility of the existence of Heaven is that I have the distinct feeling that Heaven and Hell are already here. Or, to put it more correctly, we are already in Heaven and Hell. This shouldn't cause any concern; it should actually be the brightest news we could possibly receive.

To begin with, there's no waiting expectantly; and there's no doubt. Here we are! Let's make the best of it.

And this now truly becomes a state of mind thing. For we're all in the same place; so there aren't separate quarters for the blessed and the accursed. The only distinction is what we think of this place. We're in Heaven if we think so; or not, if we don't think so.

There will be the typical members of this Eden, who will judge not by looking within to see if they feel they're in Heaven, but will look outwards at the others to see if they possess more toys than we do. For such people, this place will be nothing but earth; the place to claw your way to the top, and die owning the most toys.

But we need to conclude this matter of Heaven. Is there one or not? Well, do you feel there is, or do you feel there isn't. You make your own Heaven, as you make your own Hell. Ask Dante if you don't believe me.

Personally, it's really difficult to answer since no one had ever cross the border alive.

I love my family and the thought that I could never see them again is scary. I love my parents and wish to see them again. But, a place any place no matter how nice it is will get boring so heaven can not be a place but perhaps just another form of existance. I just hope I can exist with those that I love forever.

Interesting. Perhaps we all are part of the holy spirit or collective consciousness but our part is like the nerve endings in our bodies, we just give the greater being sense of what is life.

Why can't you allow a religious discussion to remain the slightest bit positive? We all know that you hate religion. Do you have to be insulting at every turn?

As to me, I have no idea what Heaven will be like, if I get there. I like to believe that at least I'll be free of pain there and that my friends and loved ones--both two-legged and four-legged--will be there. Other than that, I have no idea.

Hate religion. No. I just know what the traditional projection of what heaven leads one to suspect. An eternity of praising god blissfully unaware of your previous existence sound really boring to me.

BTW. There is NO traditional vision of heaven that even slightly suggest that your animals will get into heaven to hang out beside you. You are just cherry picking to make a vision that "you" like.

Do you know what really bugs me about these kinds of threads. The question about some religious aspect with the underlying assumption that there is only one religion to talk about. I think the description of heaven promoted by the Abrahamic Religions sounds boring. You got upset because I said I thought it would be boring and automatically assumed that I was bashing religion because of it. I was not. I was bashing the vision of spending an eternity worshiping and praising an entity who, by the descriptions written in the Bible, is a self-centered and egotistical brute with the temperament of a petulant child. The Abrahamic religions are all about an entity who threatens an eternity of punishment of extreme torment for such things as eating the wrong kinds of foods, wearing the wrong kinds of clothes, loving the wrong kind of people or simply not having the fortune of not being the right religion.

Paco... the God that lives in my left foot's pinky toe? ...(moving on)... he is unamused by everything except poop. Everytime I step in it he/she/it laughs like crazy... but otherwise he/she/it's cool.

Shame people kill each other over beliefs or lack of. I wonder how much it has to do with underlying fear.
