"Great American" Sean says on Fox noise that Bush "never played golf while the country was at war". Really? LOL.

    "Now watch this shot".

I was referring to the "Watch this drive" clip of Bush playing golf while the nation was at war (as Sean Hannity of Fox noise, the "great American", stated on the "news" channel yesterday about Bush never doing this).

    Brokeback Bush. Don't ask. Don't tell. ;)

The problem with Fox is the word "News" after their name. Hannity, O'Reilly, and Beck are nothing but commentary and opinion but Fox slides seamlessly between actual news and commentary so that many of their viewers can't tell which is which. I watched a clip of an exchange between O'Reilly and some woman where they kept implying some connection throughout the segment between some issue and some party without citing proof of any kind and then ended the interview with and absolute assumption of the correctness of the connection and never offering one credible or even vaguely credible source to back up what they were saying. How can people be so stupid to believe such innuendo and inference? I wish I had the text of this conversation to post. It is everything I hate about Fox in one short exchange.

I can't watch that network's nonsense for much more than 30 seconds. Makes me nauseous and reminds me of how ignorant folks are that watch that crap. Reminds me of what I was told about Russian propaganda when I was growing up. Now we spew it and call it news. Least I don't have to mingle with Fox watchers in real life. I keep joking with my wife that I'm going to build a 12 foot wooden fence around our property to keep the brainless away. (I'm just joking...I'm actually considering 16 feet).:D

Hannity is a GOP lapdog bitch, BOR is an aloof boor. Greta is nothing more than a female Geraldo.

Beck....?.....Maybe `crazy ideas, but the guy does his homework.

Oh, and to the golf......As usual, Michael Moore used old footage. Bush quit golf when we went to war. Do your research. I hate Bush but I hate misinformation even more.

Although I generally don't like Hannity, O'Reilly, or Beck, they don't claim to be anything but commentary, even if they believe they're right. Explain how you can criticize Hannity, O'Reilly, and Beck without criticizing Olbermann in the same breath, and you'll convince me you're not biased. Otherwise, you're their moral equivalent, where bias masquerades as truth and fact.

    Blasphemy! ;)

I remember the hubbub over the Watch This Drive thing being taken out of context. The question was actually about an attack in Israel not the US war as Moore tried to imply. But that is the norm for Moore. He is the Fox News of documentaries.

Actually it was well after we went to war, though. He says Aug 2003. We went to war in 2001 in Afghanistan and March of 2003 in Iraq.

Sorry but this is all rather stupid, what exactly is wrong with any President taking some time out to unwind with a round of golf? what would you guy's rather have a President who is sooo wound up he might snap or one who is calm?

Well, nothing on occasion Steve, but one of the lead Fox numbn**s claimed Georgey "never played golf while the country was at war". I was attempting to point out how ridiculous and how "incorrect" the great American was. That's all. Jack seemed to believe it. I was setting him straight. :D

I submit that discussing whether Bush did or did not play golf is meaningless & nothing more than tomc attempting to direct attention away from more important matters.

Mr. Hannity made a big deal on Fox noise, emphasising (lying) that Georgey never played golf during wartime (but Obama did). He lied. Boldly...as does the right quite regularly. This was an example. I pointed it out. Deal with it.
