Well, BO did campaign on the premise that he knew what was wrong & how to fix it, right? WAsn't that the major theme of his campaign? That and transparency, no lobbyists or corporate interest in his admin.....

No. Thats not gonna work. Thats not what you said as to why you were against it. You said you didnt want your children burdened with this generations debt. Doesnt that mean you are opposed to big time spending? You know the tax and spend lib thing. But you dont mind Obama approving nearly the same amount on the military as he is going to on his health plan. Thats spending too ya know. Now you claim THAT spending is ok. So he has done something you like. Whats with you? In previous posts you say He's lame because There are still troops in Afghanistan. Which connotes you dont want them there. Then you say he is taking too long to send more troops. Jeesh. I'll tell you again. I'm against the health bill because it punishes those who choose not to have a plan(To each his own, I guess.). I understand the concern, but I dont agree with it. But you constantly come up with a different reason to dislike it. Now its because of legacy. But I have no problem with the goverenment footing the bill for some poor kid with lukemia. Nor do I with them helping those who cannot afford healthcare. Thats not the same as paying for those who dont want to pay. But not you. To hell with that cancer riddled kid, you say; we need more bombs! Youre a ''bullets over band-aids'' guy. Bush has a lot to do with this financial crisis. Under Bush, the Bank and credit card companies pushed through a Bill that NO one asked for; except the Banks an CC companirs. This bill preyed on people who were forced into bankruptcy. This bill preyed on the families tha spent their life long savings mostly om medical care for a family member. It's a fact that over %55 of all bankrupcies come from excessive medical bills that wipe out a families bank accounts. How would you fare if you or your spouse had to undergo numerous surgeries for cancer or some othe life threatining disease.

The point is just that none of the people wanted this bill. Only the Big Banks, The Credit Industry and the GREEDY Polititions who wanted to reap the huge $$$ donations from the Banks and CC industry.

It's a disgrace and a mockery of the fairness in our government towards the needs of our people. These politions should be exposed for what they and what they are--wh***s for the $$ industries.

Don't foget that the Dems were in control of Congress, as they are now, when this was passed. Legislation starts in Congress, right?

Well...no...according to you...it's all Obama's fault. He's totally ruined everything in under a year. Under your premise, the President has to be responsible for it all. That makes Bush responsible all the prior years crimes, and Bush alone.

 

Would you not agree that some things are vital? Think about your own situation for a second. If money were tight & the radio went out on your car, you may have to delay the purchase/repair until you had the money to do so. On the other hand, say the tramsmission went out. That is an issue that would have to be addressed immediately.
If we have troops in a combat zone, it is our responsibility to do whatever is necessary to keep them safe & provide them with superior might.
To put things in terms you can understand:
Some spending, some spending bad.

Just be consistent, that's all I ask. If you believe Bush was responsible for everything that happened while he was President, you should also believe BO is responsible for everything that happens while he is prez. Simple enough?
