Well the circus has come to town last night President Obama arrived and this morning met with Gordon (God) Brown LOL and the demonstraters have started to gather outside the Bank of England. I hope that it does all go off peacfully as the Mrs works slap bang in the middle of the effected area and that has me a bit worried. Of course her Capitalist employers wont let her have a couple of days off work LOL http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/7975597.stm
So are the protest of the month crowd saying the same things about Obama that they did about Bush last time?
I think some of Obama's godlike lustre is starting to wear a bit thin these days. It doesn't matter anyway, whoever is president is going to get the shaft from this crisis.
Steve I have to ask...... I know the American format DVD's flopped bigtime, so ....... How does the Queen like her Ipod?
She allegedly was ploffed about the allegedly sharp slap on the back from Michelle too. Oh well, at least the Puke of Edinburgh didn't manage a serious gaffe like calling Obama a n-word or something.
Yeah, I didn't know you weren't supposed to touch the British Queen. Of course, the odds of me needing to know are pretty slim. lol
I wouldn't touch her, but I would be asking her to stick around as long as her blessed Mum did, and live to be at least 101. Then Princess Charley could assume the position when he is like 78 years old and putting up with screeching old bat Camilla. Vivat Regina - Long Live the Queen!
Now me I like Queenie at least she works for the country as does Charles and they pay tax Jack when did he say that LOL I missed it somewere along the line
I admire Queen Elizabeth, even though I am not quite sure about some of the institutions she stands for. You have to admire Her Majesty as she has had a lifetime job, under the lights always and has never slipped in her responsibility to her country. Few royals can ever claim to have attained the level of respect that she has earned, in the 57 years she has ruled Great Britain. She is every bit as respectful and significant as her distant predecessor, Queen Elizabeth of England. Vivat Regina Elizabeth!
