I believe President Trump can bring peace to Portland just like he’s brought peace to the Middle East.

Speaking of which, I’m happy that your Leftist, pro-Hamas ideology has failed miserably in the Middle East. I don’t know whether or not your commie news stations have reported it, but even Palestinians are celebrating the defeat of Hamas.

President Trump certainly is the bringer of peace. He should be properly recognized as such when he’s eligible next year to receive the Nobel Peace Prize.

Maybe it’s time you consider that your father’s Left-wing, socialist, violent, anti-American ideology that he taught you is wrong. Perhaps consider that a conservative, peace-loving ideology is much better. Just sayin’.

President Donald Trump was praised on Monday by members of the media after securing a peace deal between Hamas and Israel as all 20 living Israeli hostages were released from Hamas captivity.

"You’re right, we don’t know how the story ends," Jon Meacham, a presidential historian and former speechwriter for President Joe Biden, said during an appearance on MSNBC's "Morning Joe" on Monday. "We can go on and on about the various chapters, but we should make no mistake about this: This is a victory for President Trump and for those who wish that we can govern ourselves at home, and around the world, not simply by brute force, but by ideas and civilized norms."

Meacham said it was a "terrific day" for Trump and the hostage families.

Meacham, along with Washington Post columnist David Ignatius, praised Trump for the deal on Thursday, with the historian calling it "remarkable."

Comedian Bill Maher said he can't deny President Donald Trump's success during his podcast on Monday, while acknowledging he was not Maher's choice.

Maher, speaking with actor William H. Macy during his "Club Random" podcast, said he can't deny success – no matter who it is.

"I always say this — you cannot ever deny success. You just have to give your respect even if it’s not your thing. Have the humility to give it up for enormous success on any level. Trump — not my choice, didn’t vote for him," Maher said. "And he’s – I can’t deny the success."

Macy agreed and said, "I can't either – and he's the president."

"This is what's so amazing, that he, off the top of his head, could come up with 56 different—," Maher said, before reading the insults and names Trump had given him. "It's hip, and it says something about the human mind, or some human minds."

Maher quipped that he couldn't come up with that many names for someone.

Maher met with the president at the White House in April – a move that angered some liberals.

"And honestly, I voted for Clinton and Obama, but I would never feel comfortable talking to them the way I was able to talk with Donald Trump. That's just how it went down. Make of it what you will. Me? I feel it's emblematic of why the Democrats are so unpopular these days."

Well that makes me proud. Maybe it is the start of something new.

 

It's certainly the dawning of a new day, that's for sure. But, I'm not enthusiastic about liberals changing their feelings toward President Trump. I believe their hatred will still be festering no matter if he solves world hunger, cures cancer and gets Timmy out of the well.
