TC it is useless. Trump could eat beans and fart daisies and would be scourged alive for it. He will not get a fair shake from the left no matter what he does. Four months in and the man has done more than the previous administration did in four years. By far. And right, wrong or indifferent the man will never ever receive even the tiniest benefit of the doubt much less a little time to allow things to play out……. These people will not remotely try to stand behind a nation under the tutelage of Trump. They would rather see us all fail.
I keep teasing myself with the belief that GW is still young enough to learn and change . . . I have such hard time with simply giving up.
Repeating the familiar Democrat Mantra - "Follow The Science" "The Editorial Board May 7, 2025 5:33 pm ET President Trump was elected in part to repeal progressive cultural coercion, and his Administration is making progress. The latest good news is a report released last week that assesses the scientific evidence of pediatric gender medicine and received less attention than it deserves. The 409-page study from the Department of Health and Human Services reviews the evidence about gender dysphoria among children and the various treatment options. It amounts to a rebuke of the political and medical conformity that has developed around gender identity, including radical treatments that are opposed by parents." https://www.wsj.com/opinion/u-s-gen...ld-trump-wpath-9d145487?mod=opinion_lead_pos2
The image below was a sparkling new Mack Truck facility built in the mid 1990's in a depressed community in my state that desperately needed the jobs. I helped build the place. Then the Teamsters came to town.... This plant closed in 2002. Thank you organized labor.
Check your memory. It opened in the late 80's, and unionized in '89 under UAW. It closed in 2002 with parent company Volvo citing a sharp drop in U.S. heavy-duty truck sales
So my memory stinks. I readily admit that. I did help build the place and worked a routine annual maintenance contract over be course of its run. I watched what happened when organized labor took hold and the meeting rooms held more employees than the assembly lines did. I would call it anything other than what it was myself.
Whole point being that organized labor is like the corner drug dealer. He makes you feel real good for a while. Then you die.
I'm just not seeing the through line when they were organized for almost their entire runtime and general economic downturn was blamed for the shutdown.
Khalil is in the US as a guest on a student visa and an outspoken organizer of pro Palestinian, Hamas, anti-Israel protests. He does not have the same rights to Free Speech as a US citizen does. He is in OUR home. He's a disrupter. As a guest here, he abides by our laws and rules, or he goes home. His student visa is not a right. It is a privilege which can very easily be revoked. No due process necessary. This is the EXACT reason President Trump was elected. Promises made, promises kept. FAFO
Yeah, we went down this road a few weeks ago. You guys keep saying he has, to paraphrase, "problematic speech", yet no one can turn up a quote from him they object to. Fascinating.
You are 100% right. I see your point. I stand corrected. My viewpoint has been altered going forward. You've done a great job conveying the message. I now need to know who we are supposed to follow into the fray. Is our new leader AOC, Bernie, Jeffries, Waters, Newsome, Buttigieg, Schumer, Hogg, Shapiro, Whitmer, Kelly, Warren, Omar, Harris, Raskin, Walz, Cuban, Pritzker, or someone else? I'm hoping my support will flip the tide. Go team blue!
