Several years back a very inebriated lady that happened to be a distant friend drove into my nephews brand new car totaling the car and sending him to the hospital overnight. She immediately left the scene but when my nephew described the car and the lady to me, on a hunch I drove to her house to find the front of her car smashed and a portion of my nephews bumper resided in her fender. When I knocked on the door she was obviously quite hungover when she answered...... She denied of course because she was convinced nobody could place her at the scene. My photograph of my nephews bumper in her fenderwell got the job done..... But how far are we expected to coddle a person with criminal intent? The man leaves a path of ill will, anger and destruction in his wake. I have as much sympathy for him as I do a rabid dog.
