I loved that POTUS Trump didn't hold back on anything during his speech. Told them all right to their faces how much they suck, how corrupt they are, and how he's going to undo everything he can legally undo.
Unfortunately, President Trump won't be able to undo the pardons that briben gave to Dr. Fauci and General Milley for the crimes they committed.
Yeah, but that is water under the bridge. Nothing will make me happier and more confident in the future than when I go to a sporting event down the road and seeing all the kids with hands on their hearts when the National Anthem is played. That is what these next four years represent to me. To the devil with yesterdays criminals. They will cook in their own oil anyway.
Thank God and Amtrak he’s gone. I didn’t know how longer we could hold on… Please feel free to continue the song!!! @charley
The nicest thing I can say is: if you voted for the guy, I hope everything you voted for happens to you.
Thank you. And there you have it. It is possible to see the good in the opposition. You've shown hope. And in turn, I do hope that you get to benefit from all that I voted for too.
And I will say what I said four years ago when Biden took the helm.... I pray that Trumps term is a successful. When our leader is successful, we all benefit.
Lol they can’t take my citizenship away, nor deport me because I’m an American born citizen. They can’t deport my child when I have one - because I am a legal American citizen born to American born parents. they can’t deport my child, because I’m here legally and am therefore eligible for birthright citizenship. they can’t take away my imaginary gender, because I’m mentally stable. I hope we drill, drill, drill for oil. That would be nice. Here’s one that’s already happening - I’m glad we left the Paris climate accords… a crap agreement that costs us loads of cash and has no enforcement mechanisms… a feel good agreement with no strength.
Another one. I’m glad we have designated the cartels as terrorists… they are a threat to the police and government (not to mention the people) of Mexico… they are military organizations which deserve to be ELIMINATED. I know multiple people with family in cartel-dominated areas of Mexico, and met multiple families yesterday that had their children, siblings, and parents MURDERED by the cartels… One of those families went with Trump to the White House last night. They did the same three other times in his first administration and Trump occasionally contacts them personally. The woman lost her son 30 years ago - an innocent young man - while she was still living in Central America. Her daughter helped to found the Latinos for Trump. America needs to be strong… and Biden couldn’t do it. Trump will be a peacemaker - just like his first term.
EO signed tonight..... The US of A is no longer a member of WHO. That's a $500 million bill that was just brought to zero. POTUS Trump withdrew us from WHO in his first term. His reasoning: - We have 350 million Americans, and we were 'charged' $500 million to be members of WHO. - China has 1.2 BILLION Chinese, and they were charged $38 million to be members of WHO. - When Trump withdrew from WHO they begged us to return and would 'only' charge us $38 million. - We have 850 million LESS citizens than China, yet we were paying more. Then they agreed to lower our fee to the same as China, even though we have 850 million less citizens. - When Xiden re-entered WHO, we were once again charged $500 million, even though Xiden knew they'd be willing to accept $38 million. - Goodbye WHO. Don't worry. There's nothing to see here. No corruption. Move right along.
Where did you get any of those numbers. The only remotely accurate one is the pop of the U.S. as far as I can tell. Obviously, it's not purely based on population either. Try metrics for wealth per capita and it makes sense why we pay so much more.
I went there first. Which is why i can confidently say that's not where he's getting his numbers, as they're nowhere close to what he's claiming.
An old article, but it still addresses your claim, @GeneWright . . . The graphic immediately below shows slightly less than $500MM in 2019 . . . Trump's last full year . . . The next graphic shows much more than that over each of the last 2 years on record . . .
See, this is why it is great to have Trump back in the Oval Office. He's a business man first. Regardless of what the numbers are, I want to know the same thing that Trump has probably asked over and over again. What's our ROI?
Close is a relative term depending on the subject matter. Are we talking about throwing hand grenades, horse shoes, darts or what? "The United States of America is the top donor and partner to WHO, contributing through assessed contributions and voluntary funding. The United States contributed US$ 1.284 billion during the 2022–2023 biennium, enabling work by WHO, the United States and other countries and partners to identify and respond to emergencies, stop disease threats from spreading across borders and advance other key global health priorities. Contributions help keep the United States and the world safe from threats while supporting better health and well-being for populations around the world, with a focus on the most vulnerable. WHO is grateful to all the institutions of the Government of the United States of America that contribute with funding and expertise, including the U.S. Department of State, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the United States President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) and U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID)"
