It's two late. The next decade is going to be the worst of our luves - similatr to the time of the Civil War, the Dust Bowl, the Depression, and WWII. We may even be in the End Days predicted in several religions.
I get where you are coming from. I too feel the hopelessness creep up on me from time to time. But in the last few years I have watched my youngest son who had been very lost for almost thirty years bring a child into the world and completely turn his life around while I had resigned myself to the fact that he was lost forever. It served to remind me that there is always hope to get back on track and do the right thing and I believe our nation can do the same. America is a melting pot because we recognize all. Not just the noisiest groups among us and I believe most people have had about enough of keeping their moths shut in the face of all the moral wrongdoing that we have been forced to accept…… The tide always turns and I believe the radical among us are in for an awakening.
Hope and Optimism is great. However, when you are up to your neck in quicksand and sinking fast... well, you may as well join the ignorant dancing monkeys that formerly posted here. You, me, and everyone posting or lurking here has no idea of what is going on in this country. Those who have a tiny hint, know how bad it is. We are not a melting pot anymore. We are a bunch of tribes - half cannot understand English. The young are changing but it is too late to save the country. The rot has infiltrated everything. Think about this. IF the republicans had not taken the House by a tiny margin, The Biden's would have gotten away with everything. And if the two whistle blowers had not come out. Hunter would have been forgiven for everything and the connection with his father would be just hearsay. The Justice Dept. The State Dept, the Ed Dept., those who make all athe rules about what we eat, what we drive, how we heat our homes ARE ALL CORRUPT! America as we knew it IS DEAD! Never to recover.
