Being the eternal optimist and in the spirit of the season, I would like to extend an olive branch and just say….. We are all Americans and can get so much more accomplished when we work together….. Peace and blessings to all.
And then we can all go back to tearing each other a new one on Boxing Day. LOL!!!! A World War I frontline style truce it is! Merry Christmas all from me to you!
Exactly this. I spent almost sixty years of my life in a hurry. Too stressed and far too busy to enjoy the moment…. Living where I live, we seldom get cold and I cannot ever remember building a fire. Today I built a roaring fire and just sat and listened to kids giggle toasting marshmallows and I believe it just may have been the most serene day of my life….. Most assuredly, giggling kids are what I like most about Christmas.
I most enjoy recapturing the closeness that the rat race of modern living has robbed us of. Merry Christmas to all!
What model/caliber rifle do you use most of the time? What large game do you shoot? When was your last hunting trip. When was the last time you killed a large game animal. Just asking. I DONT EXPECT AN ANSWER.
My wife has a recipe for baked spaghetti & ground venison that will have your tongue beating your brains out to get to. Good lord it is tasty.
In the spirit of the season I'm not going to ask where you bought the meat. Also, in the spirit of the season, I'm not going mention that you have yet to answer a direct question such as: How much did you pay for the deer meat? Who shot the dear? What State, day and year was it shot? What model/caliber rifle do you use most of the time? What large game do you shoot? When was your last hunting trip. When was the last time you killed a large game animal.
From the harvested deer taken here, I render the tallow and use it for making soap! I also use it in lotion. . Hopefully none of the deer gets wasted.
