My big concern at this point, is that Jobie not issue some blanket order to down all intruders without first identifying them.

Think me a nutcase if you want, but I say the last thing we need at this point is war with some extra-terrestrial critters we didn’t think were in our atmosphere.

 

Well, we have been led to think by default that these are Chinese. One, because the craft that was allowed free travel across our continent was Chinese, and secondly because we aren’t being told otherwise. Frankly at this point I wouldn’t be the least bit surprised to find that they are Russian, North Korean, or even a contingency of all three….. What we do know without a shadow of a doubt now is that whomever is behind it feels no threat whatsoever from our command and control…… I am supposed to vacation with my brother in Alaska this coming weekend and I feel like I am headed to the front lines.

 

Holy crud..... Did I just hear this pentagon spokesman lend some credence to the science fiction notion that these last three may in fact be UAP's??

 

There is a DOD Directive instituted 2+ years ago that UPA replaces UFO, as a (another) method to move the conversation of Project Blue Book and extra-terrestrial life forms to a "...scientifically explained anomaly..." pending/verified status. PBB is still a bit of a thorn in the DOD hierarchy.

Al kidding aside, the average person is not cognizant that when a member of the Armed Forces is designated with a Security Clearance above Confidential, the obligation exists for life regardless of Military Discharge, and can be prosecuted under UCMJ, and it is similar for anyone with a civilian security designation, save for the prosecution is via DOJ.

When it is a Nuclear Clearance, it is a VERY serious obligation.

The bottom line is, Mopar will lie his azz off, so he doesn't have to do the military perp shuffle.
