I gave the man a fair shake. I even defended his propensity for stumbling over words. I am old and do it myself…… But today I closed my door at lunch and turned up my radio to hear Joe's address. And quite frankly, I was embarrassed for the man…. I heard no plan articulated. Only a a spin on what he has failed to do…. And who in his “circle” determined that “ultra-MAGA” sounded like anything other than a new Avenger super hero name? The definition of crazy is doing the same thing and expecting a different result….. Please put the adults back in charge. This nation won’t survive another 2 1/2 years of this.

I see no point in listening to these speeches; it's just regurgitated leftish nonsense made even less comprehendible by the bumbler in chief.

I find it difficult to watch.

I don't discriminate on age - I'm sure there are a number of people approaching 80 capable mentally of the task at hand. But we need young blood in this government.

Why is this octogenarian group holding on so tightly to power? Why are they flooring the accelerator now? Plainly, because this is the culmination of their entire careers in politics. They have to push it through now before they leave our government and don't get credit for spending money up the wazoo (which they won't have to live through the consequences of).

The Democrats I've heard are considering running are
    Bernie Sanders
    Elizabeth Warren
    Pete Buttigieg
    Amy Klobuchar
    Kamala Harris
    Roy Cooper

The 'oldies' of this group are the most likely to ruin this country. They've gone all in on the pandering nonsense (Warren, especially).

If you were a democrat, who the hell would you pick? Klobuchar isn't that bad, she won't suck up to the most radical kooks of the Democrat party the way some of these others do.

To summarize - Democrats are incredibly weak and handing them a victory this November and in 2024 would be quite the fumble.

    You're absolutely right, MD.
As you've mentioned elsewhere on this website, the economic conditions we are facing right now is on top of everyone's minds. This, however, doesn't run in Joe Biden's favor so instead we get more Trump talk.

I really do think they want Trump again with how little time they can go without talking about him.
