Senator Craig, Please step down for the good of your party. Do not put personal agenda ahead of the good of the nation. I as a registered Republican find your behaivour reprehensible, and your conduct unacceptable. You do not represent the values of a Republican, and your inability to control your deviant thoughts disqualify you as a Senator of the USA. Your homosexuality is your own personal issue until you make it clear that you consider annonomous bathroom sex more important than your service to our great nation. If you must continue to cling to the office you were duly elected to, please switch partys. You will be welcomed on the other side of the isle and probably given some commitee to run and a plaque for your office. Your sexual deviancy and perverse behaviour will make your Speaker proud.
Better yet! I think they should allow Barney and Craig sit togather when in session. I'm sure they would have a lot to talk about and in that way, not be a bother to the others who haven't yet came out of the closet.
As a register Independent and Left leaner, I can understand your desire to see Craig leave your ranks. He certainly does add fuel to the funeral pyre of the Republican party. And he certainly isn't the first representative on the Right in the last ten years to set fire to the house so many had built and I'm certain he won't the last. However, trying to associate his behavior with another party, I'm assuming the Democrats here, is just a false characterization. Sure the Democrats welcome a wide variety of ethnicities, life styles, and differences in general into the party, but hypocrites that stand up and try to pass laws that infringe on individuals rights just because they are minorities while they themselves participate in the very same behavior will never be welcomed on the left. On the Left, tolerance for differences and the individual rights of all (in other words the Constitution) supersede ideals like the biblically driven ideology of the Right. Larry may be leading a secret gay life style but his legislative record wholly disqualifies him for a place on the other side of the aisle. No one on the Left is criticizing him for being gay. They believe it is his choice and as you say his own personal issue. It is just more difficult to ignore the overt hypocrisy of his contradictory behaviors by many on the Left that may or may not have a personal stake in the way he executes his duties while in office. To put it more simply, Larry need not apply.
