What was that final NFL score in Chicago last night Moen? Let me remind you... Dallas - 34 Chicago - 10
They have never been the same since Iron Mike left Last year I thought things were on the up & up, now this so whats happend to the offensive line up!!
LOL I have to be honest though, I'm not a Bears fan. The more often they lose, the better I like it. GO COWBOYS! You know Hank Hill loves the cowboys too?
The parity in the NFL has obviously swung to the AFC as evidenced by the past few Super-Bowl (SB) winners, but there will always be the Dallas Cowboys. They may will 14 and lose in the Wild-Card Game or they will only win 1 game and it will be against the SB winner. They are indeed shocking and very difficult to plan for...
We don't get any coverage of Gridiron on any of the free to air channels over here.We are getting the games of the World Cup of Rugby though. I am supporting England,New Zealand,& South Africa though. Aidan.
Since 1967, the NFC North (in all it's iterations) has only won the Super Bowl 3 times. This isn't going to be the year that they make it 4 believe me. There isn't a winner in the group this season but I think Chicago will still win the division and then proceed to get blown out of the post-season. There is always next year and besides the Cubbies have to be eliminated from the World Series long before the Bears trip into the post-season. GO!.........Somebody else!
To the tune of "The Yellow Rose of Texas." There's a football team in Dallas, they wear the big, blue stars. They all get high on cocaine, get drunk and crash their cars. They like to beat their girlfriends, and get on planes with guns. And when the Dallas Cowboys lose, it's always lots of fun.
And the Cubs went zipppppp like a watermelon seed getting squirted out of the universe. I must be like some kind of sports phenom to see that coming.
Arizona sweep them out like they were their own personal dust bunnys. With like a 100 years of tradition behind them, nobody was surprised.
The Cubs should have made Sosa happy, kept Rafael Palmeiro out of the courtroom and the Dr's office, and lastly banned Bartman... But hindsight is 20/20.
I grew up in Buffalo and hence why you see looking left < - - - - My Bills always finding a NEW way to rip out my repeated broken heart, stomp on it, and spit on it in some new fashion and format. Just like they did to me last night with 22 seconds left. I am still stunned. I would rather have been blown out like everybody predicted...but no! They had to tease me and tangle a "victory" in front of my face before ripping out my heart...again!
Even though I'm a true-blue lifetime Dallas fan, I've always liked and respected Marv Levy and the Bills for some reason, maybe cause my boss and good friend was a Bills fan. Thurman Thomas when he was quietly relegated to the #3 all-purpose back of the 90's and he just kept his head down and charging ahead. A Real Classy player... Course I had to cheer for Dallas in those SBs...
Maybe so, maybe so... Chuckle, BTW how much tape does New England have of the Cowboys. They rarely play so it could be a shootout now that Romo has that 'trap game' out of the way. Good Luck Ben
It should be an interesting game at least. Pats probably don't have much more tape than most of the other teams, they were just stupid enough to get caught. Good luck to you and the Cowboys too.
Romo may have his 'trap game' out of the way, but "old 81" likes his traps too. Usually of the ball against the turf. When he's not dropping them outright. One of my claims to fame is that Bill Belichick and I went to the same high school (a generation apart, to be sure, but the football coach was the same guy). And I used to live down the street from Bill's parents, who still lived in the same house in which Bill grew up.
My hat is off, the Pats are the best team this week and it looks like for many weeks to follow. Without question a good game... New England 6-0 Dallas 5-1
