Where have you been? US $ only have value against China currency because China keep Yuan fixed low for value to exports to USA. Really Yuan is falsely low against Dollar, because China want it that way for exports and balance of trade. It basic economic theory, which maybe Clodsweeper not understand. If value of Yuan go up, then price of exports go up and sale go down.

Last year there was a $233 billion trade deficit with China now that is a lot of money in anyones language, and China wont drop tarrifs against US good, but they expect you to continue to allow them to sell there goods in your country!!

It is a rather silly comment to make as I am fairly certain there are quite a few multi millionairs from Russia alive & well in the world today but it is not a obscene comment at all. I believe that one of the people you are refering to owns amongst other things Chelsea Soccer Club, you might not have heard about it but it is one of the richest clubs around.

I admit to having a strongly pro-American prejudice in my purchasing habits. I admit that I am prejudiced in my belief that the political and economic systems of the United States are superior, no, vastly superior to Russia. I admit that I will never invest in a Russian company or buy from one except out of necessity. I admit that every day I thank God that I was born in America and not someplace else. This is a gift to me from God that I did nothing to earn but was blessed to receive at birth.

I disagree that it is a silly comment. I don't judge a place by how many millionaires they have, but by how well they protect individual rights and liberty. I will always buy from American companies and allies of America in preference to others when there is a choice. My response to the comment regarding what I would say if people said the same thing about US companies is that this is exactly what is happening around the world. Other nations block the importation of goods from America, finding various excuses to do so. They shouldn't expect to be thought of any differently.
