Is the human brain of no consequence?

There is a French (please don't disrespect him because he is French) civil servant worker that went in for a check up (true story in the science section of either yahoo or msn) because of some medical need, headache? They did both Cat and MRI scans and foudn that his brain was missing except for the outer several millimeters of the two lobes. His IQ is 75 which is not retarded. No kidding he has a severe case of water on the brain that over the years displaced the normal brain until only a small outer covering was working.

To me this is fantastic and only augments what I have felt in years. That conscienceness comes from outside our universe. i.e. another dimention, a receptor not yet discovered in our body or in the case of the Frenchman, just being French. No insult intended to our allies.

His name is not of consequence, how can a complex thinking system (the human brain) operate with less than 1% of total mass? My mom always told me that we only use 10% of our brain and wishes I would start.

It must be a hoax or see the initial post.

Treashunt, I am a industrial electrician but I have trouble with computers. It may be a mental block but I like the real world and not the cyberworld and that has held me back. I just don't know how to do it.

"The patient was a married father with two children and a job as a civil servant. "

And why nothing ever gets done.
