You would think, right? But all you have to do is look at many of today's lawsuits and worse yet, the jury awards because of the "race card" and a number of factors. You would think, how can this person be awarded all of this money when he was clearly in the wrong? Just ask the "justice" brothers like Rev. AL and Jessee...they are PRO's at it! They can shake down money faster than a NY minute.
You see Adam, that's the rub with these folks. You don't have to say anything, they just assume they already know, they cut and paste their little labels and slap on their smug little grins as if they've just caught the Kaiser himself. I think it's a sign of loneliness but on the other hand, who really cares. Chuck knows!
I am still a bit confused about the turn this thread has taken. But you may be on to something with the lonelines theory. Ain't chuck great! LOL.
I have to agree I have not seen a single person condem this Marine for what he did yet, the personal insults & attacks have begun, either you stop them now or I will. This was uncalled for Other Frank, you have to be kidding. He is all talk and not to be believed. In not so PC language, he's full of it. And this response Come on Moen...you know that you are worried about the bank robber's rights! Shoot, if he was black, people like you would be on the phone to Jesse and Al Sharpton so we can get "justice". The call to the ACLU is your first recourse...come on, you and your buddies would love to sue this Marine, right?
Just wait till the "have-you-been-hurt-or-injured?" attornies get a hold of this "victim", you'll see.
That is just Midas trying to make his world view fit the facts even if they don't. When you already have everything figured out in advance, nothing can shake your beliefs, not even the facts. It is the unmistakable sign of a very closed mind.
I like the old adage that "Change is inevitable while growth is optional". It's sort of ironic how avoiding introspection can put off growth in some folks practically indefinitely. It's easy to grow old along with the rest of the pack but it is much more difficult to grow in the process.
