This may be one of those times when you don't like the answer to the question you ask, NOS. I don't have an answer to your poll, because I think it's the wrong question to ask. It's always been my opinion that members are free to come and go as they please. CoinTalk is here to be of service to its members, not the other way around. CoinTalk will still be here whatever you decide. I wish you well.

That's quite okay Spider but feel free to vote--it's anonymous! Well I can feel the heat Mr. Davis and I feel I need to go for a while to let things tone down. How long is entirely up to all of you though.

It's not up to me to decide whether you want to stay or not.

Stay, leave it's totally up to you. We just want to learn about numismatics and share what knowledge we have. I find it hard to believe that anyone is out to get anyone else.

My answer was written about two minutes ago in a related thread.

Basically, it's this. Each member should do what he or she wants to do. This is just a forum. Surely we all have a life outside the forum. Each of us should do what we want to do, and it shouldn't have to be announced on the forum.

Like it (as I do), or leave it.

The poll has nothing to do with coin collecting, so I couldn't vote in it.

    :) :)

I think it is 100% your choice. If people are annoyed by your posts then they can ignore them. If you have good questions ask them and don't care what others think. I don't think anyone but you should decide what your going to do.

Russell,I don't think that your postings are boring.I like when you ask members questions, such as when you were trying to get some information about your Scots Bodle.I don't think that you should leave at all.You have asked the wrong question.I'll tell you why.It is because your question will put members into an extremely difficult situation. That's my view,I'm afraid.

Isn't this about the time of year that the young of heart take their spring breaks and head down to the beach for fun and games? A couple of weeks in the sand and a person would come back to the forum a new person.

Just a thought! :)  Now back to coins!

    Old Dan:

    I'm taking your advise!

Heading for Puerto Vallarta on Friday for a week in the sand. And maybe find a few coins.

I hope to return in a better frame of mind.

Of course, I'm pretty happy right now, but a week on a beautiful beach can only make me happier.

I know you love wild and wonderful Wyoming, but you should try the Mexican Riviera or the Caribbean sometime, if you haven't. It's a refreshing experience.

    :) :)

Stay or go, the choice is up to you NOS. But let me share something I read awhile ago and found to be very VERY true....

90% of human communication is conveyed through body language.
    8% is verbal.
    2% is other.

So in text, when we stray off of strict facts, there is a 98% chance of misinterpretation. Even with emote icons, that's still a HUGE gap to cross.

Yes those are all some good points indeed. I felt the need to bring forth my notice so as to not keep everyone in suspense and to help cease the conspiracies if there are any. Now, the people have spoken. It is 13-5 for 2 weeks to life and I am maintaining the faith someone(s) didn't create multiple accounts in an effort to vote multiple times against me. Should I return it will not be for exactly 2 weeks. Either way it will help bring order from my unpopular style of writing and will help keep things toned down. That's about all for now... Ta-ta :)

Okay, I'm going to lock up this thread and the other one now. Have a nice break NOS. If anyone wants to protest my closing these threads, please protest to me privately.

Now let's get back to talking about coins. :)
