Yawn! The whole "Lake of Fire", "Cult of Rome", "Anti-Pope" mumbo-jumbo you've been spewing is wearing very thin. I think most people have just tuned you out. I know I have.
Okay, To all: I now see what you are talking about. Wow, Aiden, you certainly have some strong opinions. Misguided, but strong.
Frank, you will be very pleased to know that there is a plan to recriminalise homosexuality in Nigeria, which means that even forming a 'homosexual rights' organisation would also become a crime. The Anglican Church of Nigeria is very influential,as is the Islamic community in northern Nigeria.Already, some subhuman faggots have already sentenced to be stoned to death in a couple of the northern Nigerian states. It would be very good if Nigeria does go ahead & recriminalise homosexuality, because even BEING a faggot,a lesbian or a 'transsexual' IS an abomination! There's no ifs,no buts,& definitely no maybes! Read the Books of Leviticus & Romans,& you will find the answer. Aidan.
Too right,Stu Joe! I am back here, but I also believe that I should also be back on Coin Talk answering other peoples' questions. Aidan.
Everybody knows that the Romans were idolitors. That was before science could explain the tides, eclipses and rock layers. There is only one question that perplexes me. If God is so great that he can create the universe, then who created God? Please don't tell me man.
None other than Al Gore! After all, he invented everything else. Or so he claims. Including global warming........He-he-he-he
Did God create us or did we create God? Was the creation of God a response to the uncertainty of the hereafter? Is the concept of faith the ultimate catch-22? Those whose blind faith demands that they not question their beliefs and condemn other faiths for having different beliefs, are excused by simply saying that they have "faith". Faith is a concept that I have very little faith in. You just have to ignore a laundry list of inconsistencies and put logic and history completely on the shelf if you decide to toss out reason and play it safe. It's much easier to play it safe than to risk eternal damnation even if this is just another human concept, the threat works well enough. No wonder the faithful are called flocks.
Orthodox Christianity (not Eastern Orthodox, but orthodox - little 'o') doesn't teach that one should behave properly to avoid damnation. Orthodox (again, little 'o') Christianity teaches that we're already damned. The point of orthodox teaching is that one should behave properly because Jesus has already done the work that we could not do to avoid the natural outcome of our damnation. In other words, we behave properly because in Christ we are justified and sanctified. God's action, then our action. Not our action and then God's. And even if your statement about playing it safe were the orthodox belief, human history has proven time and time and time again that the threat does NOT work well enough.
Moen, it was not because of the "Here after" it was because somebody needs to be blamed for the crop failure other than the Chief! If you did not belive that the Chief was devine then you would be out of the gene pool. Thus, the belief in a higher intelligence and creator.
David, Here's another thread that I reckon you should be reading,as it will be a step to helping you get kept out of the Lake of Fire in Hell. Aidan.
Dude, shouldn't you be worrying about all the people that don't believe other than the catholics?.... What religion are you Aiden?.....I know what Imma do stainless
Stainless, I am a Protestant who belongs to the Anglican Church.I am sympathetic to the traditionalists who agree with women being ordained as clergy, including as Bishops, but I don't believe in allowing homosexuals to become leaders in the Church. Phoenix, I was very pleased to have been able to get back on when I decided to log in on Wednesday (New Zealand time),as I tried early last week, but still got the banned message.I wish I was back on Coin Talk posting & answering other members' questions.I hear that Ben has jumped ship,as it were. Aidan.
