Subject: Winston Churchill on Islam, 1899

Unbelievable, but the speech below was written in 1899! I am posting the attached short speech from Winston Churchill, delivered by him in 1899 when he was a young soldier and journalist. It probably sets out the current views of many but expressed in the wonderful Churchillian turn of phrase and use of the English language, of which he was a past master. Sir Winston Churchill was, without doubt, one of the greatest men of the late 19th and 20th centuries. He was a brave young soldier, a brilliant journalist, an extraordinary politician and statesman, a great war leader and Prime Minister, to whom the Western world must be forever in his debt. He was a prophet in his own time; He died on 24 January 1965, at the grand old age of 90 and, after a lifetime of service to his country, was accorded a State funeral.

HERE IS THE SPEECH:

"How dreadful are the curses which Mohammedanism lays on its votaries! Besides the fanatical frenzy, which is as dangerous in a man as hydrophobia in a dog, there is this fearful fatalistic apathy. The effects are apparent in many countries, improvident habits, slovenly systems of agriculture, sluggish methods of commerce, and insecurity of property exist wherever the followers of the Prophet rule or live. A degraded sensualism deprives this life of its grace and refinement, the next of its dignity and sanctity. The fact that in Mohammedan law every woman must belong to some man as his absolute property, either as a child, a wife, or a concubine, must delay the final extinction of slavery until the faith of Islam has ceased to be a great power among men. Individual Moslems may show splendid qualities, but the influence of the religion paralyses the social development of those who follow it. No stronger retrograde force exists in the world. Far from being moribund, Mohammedanism is a militant and proselytizing faith. It has already spread throughout Central Africa, raising fearless warriors at every step; and were it not that Christianity is sheltered in the strong arms of science, the science against which it had vainly struggled, the civilization of modern Europe might fall, as fell the civilization of ancient Rome."

Islamic Men behind Madrid bombs laugh in court

A Spanish court yesterday convicted three men of murder over the Madrid train bombings that killed 191 passengers. The three received symbolic sentences of more than 40,000 years each but under Spanish law they will serve a maximum of 40 years.

Two Moroccans, Jamal Zougam, 33, and Otman el Gnaoui, 32, were convicted of carrying out the attacks on four commuter trains. A Spaniard, Jose Emilio Suarez Trashorras, 30, was found guilty of supplying the explosives.

Eighteen other people were convicted of lesser charges and received sentences ranging from three to 18 years. But seven defendants were cleared of all charges including one of the alleged masterminds, Rabei Osman Sayed Ahmed, 35, who is serving a prison sentence in Italy on unrelated terror offences.

The 28 defendants laughed inside the courtroom’s bullet-proof glass chamber shortly before the verdicts were delivered.

‘All modern discoveries are by Muslim scientists’

LAHORE: Muslim scientists have made all discoveries of the current age, said University of Columbia’s Arabic and Islamic Studies prof George Saliba at a seminar at the Government College University (GCU) on Monday.

The seminar, titled The Problems of Historiography of Islamic Science, was held at Fazl-e-Hussain Hall. Saliba gave a critique of the standard classical accounts of the rise of Islamic science. He detailed problems in the accounts and explained alternative historiography that described the rise of an Islamic scientific tradition as a result of social and political conditions within the nascent Islamic empire.

He said Muslim philosophy was the impetus behind Islamic science that had contributed to various disciplines including botany, zoology, algebra, trigonometry, physics, chemistry, astronomy, physics, chemistry, physiology and mathematics in the pre-industrial era. He said the use of decimal fractions was not a Western invention and that it was discovered by a Muslim scientist. He said the binary system, on which the computer was based, was also invented by a Muslim scientist. He said Arab/Islamic science was not an intermediary between Greek science and European science, but was rather the Renaissance that integrated the Islamic science with European science. Saliba also visited the English Language and Literature Department where he engaged faculty members in a conversation on the Islamic and Renaissance paradigms.

Opponent of 'mega-mosque' receives chilling death threat on YouTube

A leading opponent of plans to build Europe's largest mosque in east London has seen a chilling "obituary" for him posted on the internet.

The film on video-sharing website YouTube is entitled In memory of Councillor Alan Craig and contains pictures of him with his wife and two young daughters.

It was apparently posted in retaliation for his opposition to the mosque.

This very simply can not be true! What about Al Gore and the internet? Who are you going to believe?

 

Unfortunately what is being reported by Midas is the truth and currently being taught in Saudi schools.

In addition Don Rumsfeld's observation about the Saudi's not having a solid work ethic are spot on as well, they'll hire out Third County Nationals from the USA, Ireland, Pakistan, UK, Bangladesh, Egypt, etc., (TCNs) to have virtually everything done. To be honest if a (true) Saudi were to try constructing a building or a wall it would either fall down or blow away...

 

I was channel surfing a bit ago and saw a show on domestic abuse. They had captions on that read "No religion preaches domestic violence'! Does that mean Islam is not a religion?

 

"True" muslims should be ashamed for how they treat women like 3rd class people.

"Slice and dice" the koran any which way you wish. It is evident by the last video posting that clearly proves women can be beaten as part of their punishment (koran 4:34). Look it up!

Also, consider this RECENT fact: It has been proven that rapes committed by muslim immigrants in Western nations are so extremely high that it is difficult to view them only as random acts of individuals.

You have to admit...It resembles warfare (jihad).

Think about it...Muhammad himself had forced sex (rape) with several of his slave girls/concubines. This is perfectly allowed, both in the sunna and in the koran.

If you postulate that many of the muslims in Europe view themselves as a conquering army and that European women are simply war booty, it all makes perfect sense and is in full accordance with islamic law and history.

Just more proof to demonstrate how this religion views women and all infidels...

As a human race, we sure haven't come very far, have we?

 

It's simply a backwards death cult, there is nothing religious about it. I've seen women dressed in black who have been divorced by their Saudi Arabian husbands be reduced to selling cashews and begging to support their kids and themselves. They are forbidden to remarry or to gain gainful employment.

If it weren't for the GI's (used to be the case when the USA, UK, and FR had a base there) giving them money they would eventually starve and be buried in one of the many unmarked graves around the city, out in the desert. They'll live in culverts and sewers during the day and come out to beg at night. This is in the capital city of Riyadh less than a mile from the King's Palace.
