It seems that if anyone says anything against homosexuality then they are labeled homophobic. For me to even think about it is an abhorant and disgusting idea between men and to a somewhat lessor degree between women. I realize that it is a brain function for the most part and that a woman can be trapped in a mans body and visa-versa at conception or at least before birth. But it makes me want to gag when I see two men snuggling and kissing at a public venue, like happened to me at a chinese restaurant the other day. I just left and did not wait for my food. It just cuts against the grain of my soul but yet I can still feel some sympathy for them because I realize it is a disability. I say put it back in the closet where it belongs.

 

Who really cares what two people do together? Honestly, I couldn't care less! It makes absolutely no difference to me who is in bed with whom.

And as far as seeing two men kissing in public, well, again... I couldn't care less. If you have trouble telling your kids why this is happening, please watch the nightly news and tell your kids why any of THAT is happening. Try to tell your kids why a mother has killed her babies or why a newborn is addicted to cocaine.

Some of you people are incredibly narrow-minded.

 

OKC I agree with you 100% , just as long as "IT" doesn't effect me or my family, I don't have to watch "IT', or accept it as anything but what it is, "WRONG"!!!

 

OldDan, we've had this discussion before and I'll be the first to tell you that your opinion is as valid as mine.

However, please keep in mind that, although you certainly don't have to watch "IT", you may encounter it during daily life; it's just a by-product of being a citizen in a population consisting of different likes/dislikes. Also, you certainly don't have to accept it - I would be the last person in the world to tell you that you have to accept it. You consider it "wrong" and you're entirely entitled to your opinion.

In metropolitan environments (as opposed to the backwoods of Wyoming) there are going to be things we see that we don't necessarily agree with. Too bad! This is America.

And as far as it "not affecting you or your family", well... I would hazard to guess that someone in your family may be gay. It may be a niece or nephew, it could be a cousin, even a brother, sister, aunt or uncle. Sometimes you never know.

I just wish Americans would focus their hatred on the things that really matter such as the fanatical Muslims who want to kill us.

Now we have the western influenzas here so that it is possible to see people acting in ways never seen before. When you have children you teach them not pay attention people that want attantion by acting out in public. Singers T.A.T.U. are example of people acting out in ways most find not good. Last night son watching videos and I have him turn off T.A.T.U. video because they are gross. They should be sent to America, a gift.
