Murder assault on Fort Dix ‘very easy,’ says accused (Islamic) plotter


Authorities with a search warrant forced open this door at apartment C-14 in the Winmont Apartments at 2100 Tremont in Philadelphia. Serdar Tatar, one of the suspects in an alleged plot to attack Fort Dix, lived in the apartment complex, officials said.

• Suspects allegedly scoped out Dover Air Force Base and a Coast Guard station in Philadelphia.

• Suspects said to have "burst out in laughter" at gruesome video of attack on U.S. Mrarine

• Coordination of law enforcement called "model of the post-911 era"

The investigation began more than a year ago, according to an affidavit from FBI agent John J. Ryan.

The tipster called the FBI on Jan. 31, 2006, and said that someone had brought a "disturbing" video to have duplicated.

"The DVD depicted 10 young men who appeared to be in their early-20s shooting assault weapons at a firing range in a militia-like style while calling for jihad and shouting in Arabic, 'Allah Akbar,' or 'God is Great.'"

Me and my freinds get messed with by the police EVERY day, because I'm white and they're black. Its all a bunch of bull****.

 

How can it be Racial Profiling, they are all different races...

Maybe I'm wrong, is it if you arrest or investigate anyone thats not caucasion thats racial profiling???

I never under stood this whole racial profiling thing... Its always seemed like comparing apples to oranges...

If a white cop that patrols an area that is anywhere from 80-100% whites, only pulls over or mostly pulls over non whites, that is a pretty good indicater or something awry...

Now if a white cop partols in a place that is 80-100 Black or non white and pulls over mostly non-white, I'd say that becasue thats whats in the area...

You can't pull over something thats not there...

Or do you let the ones that are there go in order to make Al Sharpton's like the specs???

 

I live in a very mixed small town. And although there are more whites than blacks, the blacks get hassled more by police; followed, pulled over, get their block circled by police cruisers when they are out in the yard barbequing. Its more than a coincidence. Not saying that all white cops are racists. Just saying what I see, which is that in the town I live with, its better to be white than black. An unfortunate truth.

 

profiling might seem unfair, but it works. israel profiles everybody at the airport who isn't an israeli. they've never had a hijacking since. with that being said, there are plenty of corrupt cops in the u.s. who don't mind picking on certain ethnic groups because of their own personal beliefs. there are also plenty of non-arab terrorists in our history, like white-guy timothy mcveigh and black-guy lee malvo (dc sniper).

but the truth is, the majority of recent terrorist attacks have been made by muslim arabs. it's definitely unfair for the law-abiding majority who are enjoying freedoms they could never imagine in their own country, but increased scrutiny by an anti-terrorism task force would undoubtedly thwart numerous plots we wouldn't otherwise know about.

 

I'm all for racial profiling and really don't mind being racially profiled, just like when I stop on the local Indian Reservation to buy gas or anything else. Chuckle at "BigBat's Texaco" on PineRidge there are two prices on everything. I usually get charged the higher of the two...

Works that way in hawaii too, it took me a while to figure out why this haole had to pay the higher price. It is a part of life, racial profiling, and it has proven it works.
