My local newspaper came out with the announcement that they fired Ann Coulter today. Oh, they really can't fire her because she doesn't work there but her column will no longer be run in our town's newspaper. I guess the oversized orifice below her nose and above her chin has finally begun to wear on people's nerves enough to finally take action.

It seems that her pronouncement in front of the Conservative Political Action Conference in Washington DC that went something like this, "I was going to have a few comments on the other Democratic presidential candidate John Edwards, but it turns out that you have to go into rehab if you use the word "faggot", drew a large applause from the crowd of Republicans in attendance. It just leaves me wondering when she is going to come out as a lesbian. I just can't conceive of any man that would want to crawl between the sheets with something like that. :stooge:

Chuckle, Thank you :D Not being the slobbering, pointy headed, Ultra-Conservative wacko or the marching, protesting, Ultra-Liberal nutcase the (extreme Right or Left) media caters too. I prefer to decide each matter based on the information available and my own gut-feeling. Common sense is a rare commodity these days...

Same here and I feel both sides do equal dirt dishing...

I'm not offened by what she said, but I think her mouth just helps make her party or the people she would normally align with look bad...

While many of the topics and responses in the PR&WE tickle the imagination and beg to ask the question What If...? There is an unfortunate downside to the threads, they always degenerate into ditch-digger :stooge: level humor or personal attacks from non-other than...

What's wrong with the lady?? From what I've found using google she's some kind of Republican Michael Moore.

    Any more information?

Comparing her to Michael Moore...I'm just not sure who you're really insulting with that comment. They are both polar extremes. YUCK!

Hey that is why the ancients invented beer in the middle east and there are prayers regarding wine in the Torah.

As for her comment it really was funny if one looks at the political correct atmosphere that we have and how
re-hab is used in part of it and for it. However it was inappropriate for she presents herself as a political analysis who makes social commentary as well and the comment is more of one that a comedian in a bar would make.

I think anytime you stand up in front of a crowd of people and call someone a faggot, you cross a line from funny to just plain insulting even if your homophobic audience agrees with you. Comedy is one thing, character assassination is something else. Maybe dear old really Ann thinks Edwards isn't enough of a man but she is plenty manly enough for the both of them.

I think people like this sometimes say stuff just to get others talking about them and keep them goin... Kinda like Free Publicity...

18 Pages later we are still talking about something this trivial... I guess it worked...

She looks like a human spider...I figure having sex with her would be like:

I lay on the bed...she comes crawling down her web with her spider legs and arms. Then her freakishly long fingers wrap around my...

well...you know...it all ends with me having digestive fluids injected into me to disolve my innards.
