Not so much offensive as it is annoying as hell. Have a complaint or 2, fine, but when you are given a reason behind it and you don't take it to heart and constantly dog on the admin/moderator, then ya, that's a problem. He's talking about letting things go, yet refuses to practice what he preaches... even when told by NUMEROUS others besides admin/mods to just shut the hell up and get over it.

The biggest problem I saw was that he was given the chance to come back but could do nothing but dwell on what happened last time he was here and refused to accept that his own actions got him banned.

He kept insisting that it was his last post, but it was a totality of the circumstance and series of ongoing events, that he made obvious he would continue.

 

And to think I UNBANNED him because I actually liked his SUBSTANTIAL input. Then all of a sudden, I'm a bad guy, a *****, a power hungry overlord, etc, etc.. To hell with that noise, the site was peaceful before I let him back in. I simply don't need the headache.

It'll never happen. He says he has a forum, but I think its just him there. We'll never get rid of him.

I wish he's just crawl into the pope's jockstrap and live out his natural in there.

 

One of those numerous others was me, which makes me sound a bit hypocritical that I question his eventual ban.

I fully understand now.

When I was a mod over at WPYO, I banned or boxed jerkfaces for the same, immature sh!t.

 

He can always go over to 2thejungle and complain what a tyrant I am over there. I know Feck loves his company.

Well, he has been showing his idiotic ass over at The Jungle. Annoying the hell out of people there, too.

The mods there are just not as tyrannical as Bender is here;p

 

Exactly!! Hell, I am ALOT nicer then what I was on WPYO and alot more tolerant of the BS. I actually try to put myself more into the background and let IWS take on the moderating. I prefer to just post and BS like everyone else, not have crap thrown in my face. Hell that was the primary reason I stepped down as MOD in the first place on WPYO.

While I don't have an issue with TJ being banned (his whining constantly is really freaking annoying) I do take issue with this statement, Bender. From the outset of justbs, you and Cloaked have said that this place was different from WPYO, even down to the word filters. I, like TJ, think members profiles and such should be left alone by the admins, as constant messing with them will cause some serious trust issues within a board.

Don't let him get the better of ya Bender. they way you guys have been running this place has been very good. Please don't start stooping to old Phreakwars ways...

Wow. I am very, very saddened to see this. I hope TJ will be allowed to come back. He seemed like a very nice and civil poster.

Well I'm still pretty new and don't know everyone's personalities yet but one thing I can say is that I'd fight for pretty much everyone here if they were banned. Everyone seems really cool and to bring their own unique perspective to the table even if I don't agree with their views.

His personality might have clashed with some but that is not a bannable offense, IMO. I need to read through this entire thread before I say anything further. However, we should all be adults here and not wave the ban stick around towards controversial members. And like Eddo said above, I was under the impression JBS was not going to be ran like WPYO with staff abuse and account meddling? That is one of the reasons I joined. I would never have come back if all the old drama was the norm. It was hurtful, stressful, and unprofessional.

 

I don't think he should have been banned either. But who am I to question the Grand Bender?

 

Timesjoke was quite disrespectful. If you disagreed with his opinion, you were labeled a liberal. If you "didn't answer the question" (which he never did when asked), you were labeled a liberal. If you actually gave a true and honest answer, if it wasn't what HE was looking for, you "didn't answer the question"...and were labeled a liberal. He has to resort to calling everybody under the sun a liberal to "debate". I wasn't aware factual evidence was dependent on party lines. "Oh, look...that rock is right there *points*." TJ: *standing two feet in front of you, facing the other way* "There's no rock. Just like a liberal, always lying about something." You: "Wait...what?"

 

Ahem.

The way I see it is when people fight for something, that means they truly care about it. Most people don't bother fighting for things they could not care less about. To me that says he cared about JBS and wanted to address the issues that concerned him.

Anyways, I liked the guy.
