You know, last time I said I wasn't going to show you proof you called me TJ and said I was dodging the issue. I however understand you're just tired of the issue and want to move on. Love ya.
Well, that's nice to know but my statement was intended just to stir the wez/fullauto pot, though. You know, I don't actually have a problem with people thinking conservatively (Hugo is a good example). I have a problem with conservatives whose main imperative is to badmouth liberals ad nauseum - that's all. lol. awwwwww. p.s. See? I can be nice sometimes, too.
Depending on the study you want to give the most strength too the numbers for 'declared' Americans is in the ballpark of what Anna posted, I believe where your comming from is how the actual elections turn out reguardless of party numbers. Many people may join one party or another for many reasons to even include what party their family belongs to but when it coms time to actually vote, their leanings many times are more to the center. McCain is the most liberal Republican I have ever known, he has been involved in many cooperative measures with liberals over the years (and was my main reason I was not thrilled to have him represent me) and he beat out more hard line conservative people. The primary elections are usually dominated by those more hardlined or radical in the party, this is why Obama did so well against Hillary. The general elections tend to have more people involved and the true centered feelings start to come out and show. That is why the polls are changing and Obama is waffling on his possitions based on these same polls. If your campaign is all about the polls, you can be very frustrated when the more radical views start to wane and the true feelings start showing up as the general election starts to get closer. I have watched this process time and time again.
excellent point TJ... the more radical/zealous vote comes out early in the Primaries, and then tend to be diluted a bit by the more centrist of either party... That is why we are having so many 50/50 split races... people are just voting party lines when neither candidate really STIRS them...
Sorry... had to hit ignore on him for a bit... I have a 5 year old and have all I can take of children by the time I get to log on... VVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVV ----- Look Down! ! ----VVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVV This is where Wez's half witted statement will go... More for his benefit than mine, because he knows I won't see it... But he'll put it there anyways for two reasons... 1) Satisfy his own ego, which by now needs its own postal code... 2) To reassert his control over this forum with little more than Mindless spam... Wait... WAIT.... Ok... Now look!
Damn, are you a fortune teller? I watched you do the exact same thing i tried to do. You gave him the benefit of the doubt, spent hours trying to explain reality to him and he came back time and time again with pure lunacy. Just when you thought your finally communicating with him and your having a decent discussion, he tosses out the "You are what you hate" or "I'm not you" without even one shread of idea where this stuff comes from. You did the right thing, it is impossible to debate with someone who refuses to act like an adult.
I don't think you're evil. You have a different set of views than mine, but don't we all have different views from eachother? We agree on some things and disagree on others. It doesn't make you evil. You always seem like a respectful, laid back kinda guy to me.
I agree with what Chi said about us all being different. Consider how boring the world would be if we were all the same? All believed the same things. All looked the same. All liked the same foods and the same music, if we were exactly the same as everyone else we would all either die of boredom or kill each other off because as they say, opposites attract, the same will only piss us off. This is the main reason me and IWS butt heads every now and then, we are closer to being alike than either one of us would ever admit in front of the other so out strong personalities must collide every now and then. I actually like IWS, but I do find myself trying to kick him into higher potential every now and then
I am... I love a good argument...I actually love when people show me something I've missed... This thread was more for Wez... He was drailing another thread with his attacks on me, so I figured I'd start the beat-me-up thread... did I mention I eat babies?
I guess my half-breed son will have to find a border town. Then we got whole nations consisting of mongrels to consider. I do agree there are white issues. Such as ending affirmative action and having a rational immigration policy.
You will have an easier time finding it than I did, as you are in the UK... It is not banned here in the US becuase (tongue firmly planted in cheek) we don't ban books here... ya know... 1st ammendment and all... But the sale of such books are stiffled... He really does some ground breaking research into the differences of the three main racial types... Caucasoid, Negroid, and Mongoloid... But the his findings are labeled racist, and therefore invalid... I personally can't understand how they can call themselves open minded scientists if they are only willing to accept the findings of the scientific method when it doesn't conflict with the social winds of the day... ?In the survival of favoured individuals and races, during the constantly-recurring struggle for existence, we see a powerful and ever-acting form of selection.? -Charles Darwin
One thing I've yet to understand, what is so bad about being white? We have one race intermingling with another race, producing their offspring, and if the other half is of Caucasoid descent, they quickly identify (as adults) with their other half. This, I notice, is especially apparent in Caucasian and negroid miscegenation progeny. A perfect example would be Barack Obama, he would not be the first negroid president at all. He'd be the first mulatto president, but the black community is so quick to label him differently.
