I also heard a report that this ex member of Congress has admitted to being a Hell-bound faggot. Aidan.
Yes, that's the first news. But FOX News had Foley labled as a Democrat which he's not. He's a Republician...
Yep, Foley is one disgusting individual, in my opinion. Probably not as bad as our (Illinois) Mel Reynolds, but disgusting none the less.
They had internet sex. Whatever it . At least Clinton got real sex, well maybe it didn't count, cause it oral instead of... ^^^^ like congressman wanted.
Wasn't Foley initially elected as a democrat??? Besides if it is just improper contact and not actual physical encounters, there's not really too much they can do to him regardless of how sleazy he is.
Let's look at the case of Gerry Studds (D) who has sex with a male 17 year old page in 1973. In 1983 he was censured by congress. He refused to apologize, declared he was gay and continued to win his seat until he retired in 1996. Now, Foley, whom they have only so far discovered that he has been less than proper with the pages, I would call it downright disgusting and he has no place serving in congress, has resigned of his own free will and apparently admitted to his problems. It just goes to the credibility of both parties when dealing with this kind of sexual deviants behavior.
He started his political career as a Democrat. I believe he switched parties during the President Reagan years.
What a double standard. It seems to be okay that Bill Clinton could have actual sex with an intern and people love the guy even more. But then, Mark Foley talks about sex and he is beaten down like a dog. Now, it's true that Monica Lewinsky was an adult. But, the boys that Foley was talking to seem to be 16 and older. Isn't the age of consent 16 in most states? So, I don't quite understand the deal. Yes, it may be morally offensive, but is it criminal? I don't think so... What Clinton did wasn't criminal, but it was certainly morally offensive. Shouldn't Clinton have been a man (like Foley) and resigned? I love the statement that the Clinton-lovers used to say: "It's only sex" and "That's his personal life"! Well, in Foley's case, the same things could be said.
"I did not have sex with that women" - finger wagging Presidetn of USA... William Jefferson Clinton, January 1999. It was not sex, because they do it other way.
Sorry, Krasnaya, contact with genitals including the act of penetration (as in Bill Clinton's case) is considered sex. Ask any authority (other than Bill Clinton) in the U.S. and he/she will tell you the same. I don't know the laws in Bombovia, but utilizing a cigar as an instrument is considered sex. Receiving oral sex is considered "sex". Just because that lying jerk Bill Clinton says it's not so, doesn't mean a thing.
Yes OKC, you right. I say of it, like teenages girl that not know how she arrives pregnant - they just "kissed". Maybe Bill Clinton makes own rules. But so do everybody of political experience.
No way dude. I am an innocent until proven guilty type, that is why I asked if anyone thought it went beyond emails. As for Clinton:
The Law is complicated in Florida. The "age of concent" may technically be 16, but I think it requires the parents permission. Something like that. The guy is a certified pervert. By the way, this sex-with-interns stuff pervades the California State Legislature. The young girls and boys (I assume) are often pretty sleazy, not quite as sleazy as the Senators and Assemblymen themselves, but Monica-level sleazy. I inspired one of these young interns, who indeed thought the whole political lifestyle was sleazy, to change her major. She changed her major, was my geologic field assistant for a while, then later earned BS and MS degrees in geology. She is married and working in the field. I still occassionally get e-mails from a grateful young woman.
